Bali Coffee Club Canggu — Restaurant in Bali

This was just a two-minute walk from my accommodation in Canggu, and I had not planned on dining here because it wasn’t even suggested when I was looking through restaurants on Google maps, but on my last night, I was too tired to walk to a different cafe so I came in with no expectations.

I ordered Nasi Campur, and to my surprise, the price was almost the same with some warung, relatively cheap, but you know, with a nice ambience. Food was good, my drink (young coconut) was refreshing. However, I only gave 4 stars because the staff weren’t as helpful and approachable as I had hoped 😅. But then again, the place was almost empty during my visit so there weren’t a lot of staff...

Worst place I’ve ever attempted to eat at. I say attempted, I got a full English and spat the bacon out. It took an hour to come out as well, with 3 tables being used. No idea what they were doing in the back. Once the food came out, it was frozen. I honestly think they put it in the fridge after cooking. Genuinely you could feel the cold come off the plate and food. There were 2 cute dogs next to us sitting down asking for food and I felt sorry giving it them as I wouldn’t feed the worms that kind of food let alone 2 dogs. This was probably the worst breakfast cafe I’ve ever been in my 24 years of existence, avoid it all costs if you don’t want...

Great affordable meal away from the busy road. I popped in here early before class and ordered the bacon and egg waffle and cappuccino - it came to around 80,000 including tax and was delicious. Cappuccino was very good even when the barista apologised for having issues with the machine - I certainly couldn’t tell and coming from Australia we know our coffee.
