Soo, I'm still here and already wanna leave a review. This place is a šŸ’Ž! After living in China, I miss a good hot pot a lot. But now I know where to find it in Canggu (I've been in other hot pot places in Canggu that I could find and this one is the best so far).

So, first one, the food is so good! The fact that they have flexibility in amount and portion sizes make this experience great, because you are not always sure what you want or will you like something or not. But for many positions you can try a full and half portion and it's cool. Also, different variants for hot pot (big one, half/half, small for 1-2 people) also makes it possible to enjoy hot pot alone/in small company or among big group.

Another one, is people. People who work here are incredibly amazing, politely and always ready to help. If high-level service is important for you, you won't be disappointed for sure.

Last but not least, the place is freaking beautiful and comfy. It's simple, but every detail around lets you enjoy it more. Even the temperature here is slightly cool and you don't even feel that there are a dozen hot pot boiling around. Also, not smelly because of good air flow.

So, if you have never tried hot pot before, it's definitely worth to give it a first try here. But, if you are a hot pot lover like myself, it's also 100% worth to come and enjoy it here.

Important to mention, that it's crucial to book a spot ( I've been trying to come here without it 3 times, but it always was full and today I finally booked it and I'm super happy that I did it).

Prices are not cheap, but totally fair, so it's worth it.

It's probably the longest review that I left on Google 😁 but it's...

Went to the new hotpot in town for lunch and had the promo special. They were out of the other cut of beef and offered us double potion of ā€œPrimeā€ ribeye (photo). As soon as the meat arrived I asked the staff what exactly does Prime mean since it’s obviously not USDA Prime and looking at the fat distribution it’s not a ribeye. The kind waiter said he didn’t know and as I queried further it turns out it’s domestic Indonesian beef. So off to a bad start. Everything else looked good but that’s about where it ends. It all tasted terrible. Ok the 麻辣锅底 chongqing style stock was not terrible but far from authentic or even good. Fresh chilis are too vegetal in flavor and the spice is immediate, a lack of Sichuan peppercorns and other spices made the stock bland so it’s just really damn spicy. The chicken stock was excellent so we ended up just drinking that. The meatballs were all gummy and poor quality, the noodles and dumplings were low quality and turned to paste when dropped into the stock. The meat obviously was unpleasant, even a 5 second swish in the hotpot rendered it too tough to chew. We ended up taking it home to feed the street dogs. Tje only redeeming qualities are the condiment buffet and the view. This is clearly a Chinese Indonesian place that places high value on localizing for local palates. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese or Chongqing style hotpot,...

I had to complained about their customer service, related to their playhouse & dine-in customer service:

We were 2 families, 3 kids, booked a table for an early dinner by 5pm. We were told, DD customers spending 500k+, kids can play for free. Although, when we were there, playhouse told us - each table only allow to have 1 kid to play for free, doesn’t matter you spend 500k or 2mi, which it was never clearly explained to us ahead either via website/ social media / even in person when we booking a table asking for the playroom )

When I tried to tell the manager, our kids will play first then eat ( since their play house closes at 6pm), the manager literally refused to give my 2 kids free tickets to get in, instead, he asked to show the bill….. even though I was trying to explain we are going to eat after the playroom…

I fully understand, you want to earn income from running the playroom business, but If you want to connect with your hotpot business customers, you should be fully consider customer experience, and having a very inflexible manager didn’t help at all.

Overall for food and restaurant service, I was impressed. But the playroom unclear policy and onsite manager and its poor communication skill that gave this visit...

What a fantastic experience! I’d been put off hotpot after a disappointing experience in the past and had almost given up on it entirely—until my fiancĆ© convinced me to give this place a try. I’m so glad I did. This restaurant completely changed my mind! The service was warm and attentive. The staff kept a close eye on our table and were quick to top up our drinks as soon as they ran low. There was a small mix-up with our Bintang order being forgotten twice, but they were clearly busy, very apologetic, and fixed it promptly once we asked again. As for the food—absolutely spectacular. The ingredients were fresh, the variety was great, and the sauces and toppings were full of flavour. Honestly, the quality here outshines what I’ve had back in Australia, and at a better price too. The atmosphere was welcoming and stylish, and the air-conditioning was an absolute lifesaver in the Bali heat! I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be returning. Thank you for showing me that good hotpot really does exist!
