Please train your management proper customer service, they must learn how to be respectful and welcoming to the clients.
I suggest you promote your receptionist and your new waiter Widi to make them supervise and manage instead of those who are in charge right now, – a guy and a lady with a sour face.
I was here around five times and food was good at all time, apart from the time, when I have had a croissant, which was burned. Pesto pasta, burgers and tomato soup are amazing.
Here's the feedback for you Management, -please teach them to greet the clients when they walk in instead of ignoring them or offending them, – I literally was eating my breakfast, and then your manager(or supervisor?) came to me without saying hello, sat at my table without asking me if it's okay to disturb me, without a smile, the first thing he said was,- you are lying about what you are doing here, you have had a photo shoot here. He was not intending to leave my table or stop talking unless I asked him to not disturb me and let me eat in peace.
I was having everything arranged, he has disrespected me, gaslighted me,I was not welcomed, i was insulted, my privacy was disturbed, and he did not apologise, he just left without saying anything after I have expressed him what I thought about his behaviour, your WAITER Widi apologised instead.
I did not feel welcomed, I felt heated by your management, even though I spent £90 here during my last 2 food/taking pics visits, and did absolutely nothing wrong, and I do not want to come back unless you will train your management properly.
Me and my friend were the only customers here at 7 am for two hours, and we were extremely unwelcomed.
You also have had absolutely no water in the toilet
( so was the food we were eating dirty, as your staff couldn't wash their hands?- I assume that, as I was not offered anywhere to wash my hands alternatively after mentioning that there is no water in the toilet, and I have had no chance to wash off my soap, so I have had to wash the soap off my hands in your pool, and your management have NOT EVEN blinked an eye to care)
and we did not get the apology for that or any solution on how we can wash our hands, - we were offered to spend more money instead, as we are having the photo shoot (which was me Filming my friend on the phone for 40 min while the place was empty) , which we have arranged previously with one of your DECENT and welcoming staff members.
Last time when I walked in, you have had a staff meeting of 20 people standing in the circle in front of the entrance, nobody intended to serve me or greet me, it was nobody to give me the menu, after i was refused to be served, i have had to interfere into your staff meeting and explain that it would be great if one of your stuff will make time for a new customer, – and again i was told that by your management, I was asked to calm down, even though I did not do anything wrong or raised my voice, - overall, your receptionist have served me and took my order , and fixed all my problems, as well as apologised for your management mistreating me,
due to which I suggest that your receptionist teach all your stuff proper customer service, as well as you must rethink, who is in charge, as your waiters are doing a better job in customer service than your management, –
the lady with a sour face who was extremely unwelcoming today(instead of saying hello, and welcoming us, she forced me to give her my name and details, even though I was not happy with that ), as well as your supervisor/manager, or whoever that guy is must learn from scratch what a proper customer service is and what are the risks of mistreating the clients unfairly and inadequately for the business

Read moreAt first glance outside the venue looks great, however there are many important details that have totally missed the mark.
Decor: The seating is uncomfortable, many venues get this wrong and purchase items that look great in a catalog but they forget to sit on them and try them out for comfort. Try being a woman in a short skirt and sitting on a hard chair with a seat that’s on a lean. The bench seating is also very narrow and the seat backs are upright with no cushions. The venue is confusing, are you a “want-to-be beach” club or a restaurant? The speakers are great quality, and the music was also a good choice so well done here. The view isn’t that spectacular from the restaurant section. Upstairs was very hot with no fans installed. No sun shelter in the garden area upstairs which is a shame as the space is wasted by the hot sun.
Service: the service was ok, the staff were trying their best and had nice smiles but for a place that is offering table service it’s lacking as we had to get up to find help multiple times.
Menu: The food is below average. If you are going to claim to be a Japanese Asian Fusion restaurant and sell sushi on the menu you should at the very least be seasoning the rice with rice wine vinegar 🤦♀️ The miso soup was so salty I couldn’t eat it and was served in a huge wooden bowl, not appropriate to sip out of but we had no spoons. No gluten-free options. The menu layout also needs work as there are some options that were quite confusing to read and required more explanation from staff with little English.
There is so much competition in hospitality especially in the Canggu area, so for this venue to do well they will really have to pick up their game. There is potential for this venue to do much better if they can improve BUT it will all come down to having proper management in place and more qualified chefs to do...

Apparently today they have an event DUTCH POOL PARTY, so we went and arrived at 3:30 PM and when we get there we get asked if we are regular customers or were there for the event we said regular customers, they said the party start at 4PM and didn’t mention anything else, so we said we dont mind as we weren’t planning to stay long anyway, we wanted to sit by the pool but the beds reserved for the party which we understand. So we ordered food and few cocktails and enjoy the pool, then it was already 4PM the one of the foreign lady ( in red bikini ) approached and asked if we were DUTCH or not and we said no then she said “we are currently hosting dutch pool party for dutch people, but you can finish your food and drinks, i hope you understand” we felt so uncomfortable and being rushed when we just about to have our food and drinks ( btw the place is still quite, not packed at all ) with that being said we ended up to takeaway our food and just jug our drinks as it was cocktail so there is no way to do takeaway. Is just so disrespectful to do that when we are about to eat our food that we had to pay in advance because they were closing their register and get ready for the party. One of the staff were there and didn’t say anything, we are not even sure who the foreign lady was but looks like she work there as she was greetings the Dutch people.
We dont mind that if we cant go because the event just say it instead of letting us dine in and being rushed to eat our food and get out. So disappointing that none of the staff...
