Most wanted steak house in Seminyak area. I did reservation through Chope app for our dinner and it was the best decision because at that time they only accepted for reservation only due to full booked (Saturday night). My order were:
Crab cake - 8.5/10 (This was so good for starter and i could eat it more and more) Salmon rilletts - 8/10 (Another starter, good no doubt, the crispy bagguete (?) And salmon was good combination) Crispy skin salmon - 8/10 (Salmon steak with beurre blanc sauce, sauted mushroom & spinach and parsley oil. Sauted mushroom and spinach was da bomb!! Me likey than the salmon, lol) 30's AUS 400gr Wagyu rib eye mb7+ tajima - 9/10 (drum roll the main was coming! No words this was so so great. Medium rare, melt in my mouth, soft and tender. We ordered the steak grilled with salt pepper only so we could taste the beef flavour perfectly. No words, Just try đ) 4 Side (each 60k, 4 paid 200k) - sauted broccoli with garlic (7/10 it was okey not too special), steak chips with truffle (9/10 hooooyy i couldnt stop eat it), garden salad (i didnt try it, lol, sorry), sauted mushroom (8.5/10 refer to no 3. Lol) Tiramisu - 7/10 (maybe i felt full already so i didnt enjoy my dessert much haha. Well it was good but not special for my taste) Choco lava cake - 8/10 (they offered us for kept this cake and we thought this one was their signature dessert so we said yes. We waited for maybe 10 mins for the dessert until we felt sleepy haha. Once it came to our table, and cut it with the spoon, whooa the melting choco was coming out, still hot and perfectly combination with the vanilla ice cream. Me like the choco lava than the tiramisu) Lengkeng lemonade - 8.5/10 (refresh drink, non alcohol and good combination with the food)

after walking 7km to this place ( at 1pm on a saturday with 30C plus plus outside - big, huge mistake ), we got to the restaurant. we were probably looking dead as they immediately showed us the table and brought water - really nice gesture. we ordered scallops - flavor was there but maybe a bit more of frying pan it wouldnt be bad as they were barely brown. then oysters , these ones were so good i ordered more - my personal taste is for the smaller type ( malpeque or french kiss but this ones were good, very good. ordered the 900gr aus waguy dry aged bone in ribeye...it was AMAZING and perfectly cooked and sliced, that "funky" characteristic taste of dry age was there, the tenderness, presentation was spot on, got some potatoes with trouffle and cheese as side... my bad as i thought there were regular fries but were more like what we call wedges, nonetheless were very very good. now comes the off ( hence 4 stars for food ) we ordered the grilled octopus. now this one was chewey, tough, not properly cooked ( maybe a bit more boiling or sous vide and would be a perfect meal ). however and because i hate sending food back, we ate it almost all once we pointed this out to one of the servers, she escalated this to a superior ( maybe floor manager , sorry i shoulve gotten the name ), this means they really pay attention to the guest experience. he came to out table, apologized to a point i was starting to feel bad, he offered us dessert ( something i was willing to get anyways ) and gaves a small discount ( on the octopus ). long story short, service was impeccable, food was very very good - tasty , well prepared, very very well plated. the octopus was just a small hiccup nothing to be worried as im sure next time it will definitely be...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked into BoyâNâCow, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between upscale and unpretentiousâintimate, warm, and effortlessly memorable without trying too hard.
We ordered the grilled octopus, the AUS 200g grass-fed tenderloin, smoked beef bacon mac and cheese with a 63-degree egg, steak chips, asparagus with sea salt, lemon, and crunchy parmesan, and the sautĂ©ed mushrooms with shallots, brown butter, and herbs. Every bite? Flawless. Rich, balanced flavors, thoughtful presentation, and high-quality ingredients across the board. Itâs a âtreat yourselfâ kind of place, and absolutely worth every rupiah.
But what really elevated the night was the serviceâspecifically our incredible waitress, Aria. If thereâs ever been a poster child for exceptional hospitality, itâs her. That smile? Radiant. Her attentiveness? Impeccable. She was knowledgeable without being pushy, warm without being overbearing, and genuinely seemed to love what she does. Every interaction with her felt personal and thoughtful. The rest of the team mirrored that same energyâattentive and professional from start to finish.
If we had to offer one piece of constructive feedback, it would be the birthday singing. While we appreciate the effort to keep things lively and light-hearted, the frequent bursts of celebration didnât quite match the otherwise relaxed and intimate tone of the space. At times, it made conversation a little difficult. A softer touchâlike some live acoustic musicâmight be a more cohesive fit for the venueâs overall vibe.
All in all, BoyâNâCow is a standout. Whether youâre celebrating or just indulging, itâs a must-visit in Seminyak. Weâll be backâand weâll be...
