The food was disappointingly terrible. Unless you've come all this way to enjoy average Western food like burgers, avoid at all costs. Being in Bali I thought I'd stick to Indonesian. Big mistake! I had the Ayam Goreng and didn't touch it. The "chicken" was overcooked and what meat was on the wing was like rubber. The rice was gluggy & cold. The only edible part of the dish were the prawn crackers.

When the waiter asked how everything was I told him it was terrible and showed him why. He apologised and then proceeded to put it on the final bill anyway! Along with extra cocktails as they "forgot" it was 2-for-1 Happy Hour. I refused to pay for the chicken and the extra cocktails and they removed their "mistake". No offer of anything complementary to compensate our wasted evening.

Meanwhile the "band" destroyed a string of melancholy Western songs that killed whatever vibe there was.

Unfortunately I read the reviews after going here, otherwise I would have seen a pattern. Clearly being 2 middle-aged families with kids meant we weren't the target they are looking for to dose up with free drinks for a 5-star review. All other 1-star reviews are pretty much spot-on with our experience.

Avoid! There are so many more better placed Seminyak...
