Great coffee and fantastic pisang goreng, but disappointing avocado toast.

We liked the relaxed vibe, good service, and fair pricing of this place. The coffee was genuinely excellent — both the iced latte and cappuccino were perfectly made, well balanced, and served at the right temperature.

Unfortunately, the avocado toast was a real letdown. The soft-boiled eggs were hard, the avocado wasn’t ripe and lacked seasoning, and the bread was barely toasted. I ended up removing the toppings from both slices — which says it all.

On the bright side, the pisang goreng was a highlight: generous portion, perfectly fried, crispy and golden without being greasy. Probably one of the best we've had in Bali.

Looking at the reviews, I think we must have struck an ‘off’ night. Food was very disappointing… a cold hamburger pattie masquerading as beef black pepper ‘fillet’ steak, a dry chicken schnitzel that was supposed to come with gravy arrived with a white sauce we couldn’t identify, the chips appeared to have been reheated and the pumpkin and feta salad was devoid of feta and inedible due to being saturated in vinegar. The meals all arrived at different times with some people finishing their meal before others had received theirs. I know Aussie tourists love a themed bar and now instagramable places above quality food and entertainment! It’s a shame they will miss out on this amazing place! We went last night (Friday) and they had an amazing acoustic band playing chilled out adaptations of all kinds of songs. The talent of the band was amazing! We had fish and chips that were delicious as well! This place should be packed! I’m hoping it’s new and people will flock here soon. They really deserve it.
