I’ve never had a worse experience in my life than at La Favela Bali. First off, the queue was ridiculously long. They are liars and cheaters because while we waited in line, we saw some people at the back paying IDR 100,000 to cut the queue and go straight to the front. This is completely unacceptable. My friends and I patiently waited in the queue, and when we finally got to the front, we encountered an unbelievably rude bouncer. At a certain point, the queue splits into two, but no one informed us about this. We were all standing in one line, and when we reached the front, the bouncer (in the picture below) said to my friend, “You have beautiful eyes but are you BLIND? Can’t you see the queue for the ladies is on the other side.” His tone was extremely rude and demeaning, and he seemed to be on a power trip just because they had so many people trying to enter. When I politely asked why he was being rude to a lady, he started pushing me and aggressively telling me to get out. He was incredibly rude and even called us names, including “lady boy.” If the staff outside is this horrendous, I can only imagine how terrible the experience inside would be. I know this is just one review BUT LA FAVELA higher management team, go outside and take a look of what your staff are actually doing and earning money on the side. Don’t you pay your staff enough that they actually need to earn extra “IDR 100,000” extra and be unfair to others. YOU ALL WERE THE MEANEST PEOPLE I’VE MET IN MY LIFE. Avoid La Favela Bali at all costs if you don’t want to ruin your night. P.s: the other guy in the picture where there are two didn’t say or do anything wrong. He was cool. It was the guy with the black ear Ring and also in the individual picture. EDIT: La Favela team who responded below, that’s a very smart and manipulative reply. Seems to be a very automated and robotic reply which I believe you as a business would use. We have evidence you reaching out to us offering free services in return to remove the reviews. There are multiple bad reviews with similar case and it’s so funny that you can’t find evidence that your staff is actually taking extra IDR 100,000 to help “privileged people” to skip the queue. Good luck as it I’m 100% sure I’m not crazy and there are similar recent reviews about your staff. For those looking for clubbing and good restaurant, I highly recommend Motel Mexicola and Malverde (next door)

Drove 40 minutes 2 nights in a row. Night 1 was good. Night 2.. well I had high hopes for Favela Club after an amazing experience there just a couple of nights before. Unfortunately, my second visit turned into a nightmarish disappointment that I feel compelled to share. We arrived early again, as we had done the previous time. No issue there – it’s understandable that demand can be high at peak times. However, this time, I was denied entry for the most absurd reason. I was wearing a branded, elegant, and fashionable dress, which happened to be from Adidas. To my shock, the hostess refused to let me in, claiming it didn’t align with the dress code. I was baffled – the dress was well within the stated guidelines. What’s worse, the hostess’s attitude was nothing short of degrading. She treated me with such disdain that I felt humiliated, as though I didn’t belong there. It was as if she was determined to single me out. To make matters worse, I watched as other patrons entered wearing denim shorts and casual tops without a second glance from the staff. The only issue seemed to be that my dress bore the logo of a sports brand. How ridiculous is that? After speaking to others about this incident, I learned that this isn’t an isolated case. Many people have faced similar treatment from staff, which makes me question the club’s priorities and professionalism. I truly regret returning to Favela Club. It’s disheartening to see a place with so much potential marred by arbitrary and condescending behavior from its staff. If you’re considering visiting, be prepared for a potentially humiliating and inconsistent experience. Edit after beautiful reply for management: I’m attaching pictures for your reference. Just to clarify, I didn’t even bring yoga pants to my trip to Bali, as I wasn’t planning on doing any workouts… and I was very mindful of the dress code, which is why I specifically chose a fancy dress for the occasion. I’d recommend being careful with assumptions moving forward, as your comment essentially labels me a liar. That said, here’s the dress I wore—enjoy!

Quite a mix of music here and a rather unique venue worthy of exploration. So many rooms and nooks and crannies and extending over three levels too. Crowd is twenties but high school finishers too and pensioners (lol) like me. Ladies free entry. Guys first drink included and indeed you have an extensive menu to choose from, including mixed spirits or soft drink if you want to make the owner richer. Excellent security here and indeed throughout the venue, not just at the doors. Due to its nature there are lots of ledges and steps so trips do happen but the security are on top of it, constantly flashing their torches at the obstacles. Plenty of bars and service is swift. Get in early to secure a seating nook for your group or a stool for singles/couples. Plenty of men and women if you’re looking for a partner. Local women too, some of whom are more professional oriented. If you are not so old that you need a walking frame then a partner can surely be had. Some of the more expert Indonesian women were proactively suggesting female-female company. Often more women than men here. You’re in the wrong venue for male-male fun. If FFM fun is your thing then I met a couple of Indonesian ladies who were absolutely wasted and you could tell they were good buddies and did everything together. The bar does have a couple of poles if you want to flaunt your moves. The uploaded photo is from the Attika bar, a bar within the complex and located on level three. I preferred the livelier lower levels. In short: great music, drinks and pickups.

Incredible Experience at La Favela - Amazing Food, Atmosphere, and Unmatched Security!

La Favela is hands down one of the most incredible places I’ve ever visited. The atmosphere is electrifying, the decor is stunning, and the food is simply out of this world. Each dish is a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavors that take your taste buds on a delightful journey. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or a night out, La Favela offers an unforgettable experience.

But what truly sets La Favela apart is its extraordinary security team. Recently, I faced a harrowing incident where I was robbed of a staggering 4 million rupees. I was in shock and feared I’d never see my money again. However, the security team at La Favela, led by the exceptional Chief Gerard, turned the situation around in the most remarkable way.

Chief Gerard took the matter so personally, demonstrating an unparalleled level of dedication and determination. He assured me that they would recover my money and apprehend the culprits, and he delivered on that promise beyond my wildest expectations. The entire security team worked tirelessly, displaying incredible professionalism and efficiency. It was truly awe-inspiring to see them in action.

Within a short period, Gerard and his team not only caught the robbers but also recovered every single rupee that was stolen from me. Their swift and decisive actions were nothing short of heroic. The relief and gratitude I felt when Gerard handed me back my money were indescribable.

La Favela’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its patrons is second to none. The sense of security I experienced made my time there even more enjoyable. Knowing that such a dedicated and capable team is watching over you allows you to fully immerse yourself in the vibrant and lively atmosphere of La Favela.

To anyone considering a visit, La Favela is a must! You’ll be treated to amazing food, an incredible ambiance, and the peace of mind that comes from being in a place where your safety is a top priority. Thank you, La Favela, and a special shoutout to Chief Gerard and his phenomenal team for turning a nightmare into an uplifting story of triumph. You have my utmost respect...
