Got invitation through WhatsApp, very excited as I was pretty often go to your sister company with the same pattern of promo and invitation.
First, I came in from the backdoor, I was not thinking that the backdoor or maybe smoking area cz there is menu and signage in front of the gate. No one directing me but that’s okay cz I can find my own way to the staff and dining area. The place are beautiful, decorated with stunning detail, but I don’t know who was arranging the table layout. It’s too close to each other, even the waitresses can’t move freely to serve the guest. But this is not the reason why I give you two stars
The reasons why I give this place two starts are :
There was one of your waitress (yes only 1 person) that didn’t take our order with any standard of hospitality. No smile, show no care and didn’t put any enthusiasm, while other staff are trying their best to gave the biggest smile they have. Thanks God, she didn’t serve our food. I lost my appetite by half with this behavior. Anyway, she didn’t wear name tag, while other have it. So I can’t tell the name but I remember the “not enthusiasts-face”
The main dish came first before the starter. I didn’t know how they communicate with the cook, but I don’t think it’s right since you separate the starter and the main dish
The sprout underneath the grated apple in Pork Belly with Apple Salad menu was black, I know the difference between black because it’s old / stay too long outside the chiller or has been marinated with the sauces, Since the sprouts was raw. (I’m okay with raw sprouts) Photo is attached.
Your apple salad sauces was tasty, I love the taste, but in my opinion, you missed one ingredient as the bridging between the taste of the apple, sprout, pork belly and the sauce. I just can’t tell it, but no worries that just my opinion and it’s not the reason why I give you 2 stars review
Please take note of 3 points above. If it’s okay for the management about those 3 issues cz I get “free-food” through WhatsApp invitation, I’m okay with that. But please make sure other customers will not have any issue that I experienced last night
I appreciate all the staff that already worked hard last night, also the management that have truly work hard as their portion. Last night should be running smoothly like your other sister company while working with the same promotion strategy. Just need to fixing a little bit and I’ll be so happy to come back and enjoy your tasty food. Not for the free food, I’ll pay definitely. I hope the management and all team can accept this little review and not being mad

This is the 3rd time I came to this restaurant and 2nd of them I came as a guest without promotion, because I got information that there was a promotion of course I was quite interested because I had come here before, everything went very well. Dhena as GRO informed me very well that when I came it was a full table and invited me to wait at the bar table, I understood very well because when I entered it was indeed a full table, and I informed that if it was full I was okay to order at the table near the bar, when I wanted to order DEWI as a waitress with an unfriendly face and said "take the free promo, right?". I was quite surprised because I came not as a customer who had no money, not as a first time visitor to this restaurant or to other expensive restaurants, all the food was served well and delicious by other waiters, until 8.30 pm I saw the table inside looked empty and I wanted to move inside, I called DEWI to ask for the table, but she said "no sir, because it's inside for non promo customers" I was devastated and disappointed because I was considered by DEWI as a customer who was not generous and only ate for free. Honestly this is my bad experience eating at a fairly classy restaurant but being considered as a person looking for free food, input from me if you want to make a promotion please staff especially named DEWI in training how to serve customers who come, because not all people who come with promos are people who will not spend their money in your place. And is it okay to serve good and delicious food with a view of the trash and toilet ? Are guests with promotions not allowed to sit inside? If DEWI says full table I still accept but when I asked for an empty table available at 08.30 pm she said there was a reservation until 09.00 pm the table had not even been filled and even other tables had started to empty, even the cashier who knew my bill she still served with very good service. All the service is very good and the food is delicious except the service provided by DEWI. I hope those of you who read this think again before you are considered a customer promotion by looking for free food and eating like a poor...
Read moreActually i want to give a 5 stars & even post it for my social media circle. But my 2nd visit experience changed my mind because i think this place have an issue with the consistency of their food taste & flavor.
We came here twice on 21 sept & yesterday evening. On our 1st visit i ordered the special menu mama tom yum noodle and salmon crudo. Both food is tasty and im in love with the mama tom yum noodle since the tom yum broth flavor is strong, the sour & salt taste is on point and not too sweet. Also the portion is big & the ingredient contain is a lot.
Then on our 2nd visit, actually i wanted to try another thai resto in Bali to get comparison but because the mama tom yum noodle flavor is on top of my mind for my craving on comfort food, i decided to come back here. I ordered again the mama tom yum noodle and massaman chicken curry.
The massama chicken curry is good, it tasty, the curry taste is strong and the portion is big. But the biggest disappointment is the flavor of the mama tom yum noodle. When it served to my table they forgot to put the pork belly into the tom yum. we asked to the waitress & several minutes later the waitress came with the pork belly slices and admitted they forgot to put it. In the middle of eating it we just realised that the tom yum broth tasted a way different from my 1st visit. Almost no taste of tom yum paste, the sour, salty & bit sweet taste is gone and more like curry because the taste is more dominant like peanuts (?). My partner want to complained it but since we already eat like a half portion it would be unethical for us to complained about the taste/ get compensation for it. I wonder if the chef/cooking department also forget to put the tom yum paste like they forget to put the pork belly slice. Also when i looked from the picture that i take from the 1st visit, the broth color is quite different. The 2nd one is not as thick as the 1st.
I think this place need to keep the consistency of their food taste because actually from 3 menus that we ordered, we can say its good. Also since the price bit expensive, this can't be such an issue because you need to maintained it well, as well as the service...
