We have lived in Bali for 6 years and close to Vinaka for this past year. We discovered Vinaka early on and have grown more and more fond of both the food/drinks but also of owners Anna and Andy. We love love love their home made noodles (try the vegetarian ones with fruit!), the rice pudding with passion fruit and the aloe vera drink! Soooo yummy! Everything is made to order, fresh and fast! It’s delicious and super reasonably priced! There’s even quite a few Indonesians eating there, that tells you something! We love the company of the dogs who are part of the family and atmosphere of Vinaka! Anna actually helps coordinate vaccination and sterilization campaigns for the dogs in the area. And also she’s a big Green Warrior, actively working towards ‘Plastic Detox’ which is also the name of the NGO she’s helped set up. Anna is highly educated and conversations with her are always enriching and educational, all the while being light and fun! We value Andy for his green efforts in growing his own veggies and herbs as much as he can. And helping the kids of the community! He’s a true role model. They both are! So in short: Vinaka is a must-go place both for the healthy and delicious food, the unique atmosphere, the fun and interesting socializing, the cool conversations, and is great if you are into socializing with locals. These guys deserve all the praise because they go above and beyond simply...

If you're looking for a humble eatery that's like a home away from home, you simply must check out this amazing spot. The owners are the chatty and friendliest people you'll ever meet.

This place is also dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the ride. And if you're a chess player, you'll love the space that's perfect for playing a game or two with friends or even strangers.

They specialize in homemade noodles and signature Indonesian dishes, all made with care and attention to detail. They grow some of the vegetables themselves, so everything is fresh and delicious. There are of vegetarian options as well.

The homey food is simply delicious, and you'll find yourself wanting to come back again and again. Whether you're in the mood for a steaming bowl of rendang noodles or some pecel, you won't be disappointed.

And the positive vibes are so contagious. This is a great spot to meet new people, make friends, and feel like part of the family. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work, a place to catch up with old friends, or just a place to relax and unwind, you'll feel right at home here.

So if you're looking for a spot with good food, good vibes, and good company, look no further than this warung. You...

This warung is so great that we came twice. We were so lucky to sleep 100m from this lovely place that we highly recomend.

The couple who runs it is very charming. He cooks, and she takes care of you.

A big rectangular table enables customers to talk to each other (which led us to having one of the best conversations with another french guy now living in Bali, but that's another story). The atmosphere is great, thanks to her jokes and her kindness. She gave us really good advice to where to go hiking after lunch, and gave us a contact for a driver who would lead us to munduk the day after.

With no surprise Food is in line with my above comments. Note that noodles are home made. We had mie goreng and another dish, both were excellent, tasty and made with heart.

As for dogs, which are probably unbiased, they really seem to appreciate the atmosphere of this place too, adding to the liveliness of this wonderful restaurant.

I forgot: if you love to draw, don't hesitate to ask, they will be delighted to let you add your contribution to the drawing book.

Can't wait...

I frequented this Warung in September 2024 and the hosts, the food and the atmosphere were great. I recently returned to this area and mentioned to my host I was going there for lunch. My host advised against it and said a previous guest got quite sick after eating there and spent 3 days in hospital. (There is a new owner). I ignored his advice and an hour or so after eating I was running to the toilet. Of course this may have been due to food I ate elsewhere earlier in the day. Regardless, I gave it another go a few days later and ordered a vegetable nasi goreng - it was so greasy I couldn't eat it. I tried. I've been coming to Indonesia since 1979 and that was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The resident dogs were also out of control, constantly barking and harassing me. I suspect they aren't being fed. The atmosphere was terrible. I don't usually bother with reviews, but in this case I feel it's warranted as the previous reviews are all 4/5* and that certainly wasn't my experience.

The reviews are true. Andy was more than welcoming even when we arrived after 21:00 when they close at 22:00. With less than an hour left and you had been more than welcoming and treating us to his delicious food, his beautiful dog, vibes and atmosphere and other worldly views, amazing self-made alcohol and the sugar cane juice that blew us away. The food was honestly just the extra bonus on top of the great atmosphere that he provided. The homemade noodles with the pork rendang absolutely godly. It's always beautiful to meet a soul that understands across the world ❤️. We wish we could come back tomorrow but that's his day off and the man deserves some rest. We thank you for an amazing time and your wonderful hospitality will be back if we can. We bought 3 bottles of the homemade goods 🙏🙏🙏
