A friend and I came for breakfast and were of course intrigued by there being jewelry and things to look at while waiting for our food. Holidays tend to foster a certain shopaholic tendency... There were a lot of cute things, but we just didn't feel like the price was right.
I was excited to see blueberry pancakes on the menu and my friend ordered the eggs Benedict. We thought the prices were great since there is no way you could get this kind of steal in Jakarta.
Unfortunately, when the pancakes came, I knew immediately they would be dry. As I cut into one, it became clear that I was unlike to take more than a bite or two. The eggs Benedict had nice little chunks of feta which seasoned it well. Being able to add salmon and avocado to it was great. We had hoped for a better and more hollandaise, but maybe it's just a personal preference because we love sauce.
Otherwise, I was satisfied with my butter crumble coffee; my friend enjoyed the mixed juice but thought the chai should have been steeped longer because the...

This place has the cutest dining area AND shopping selection (Anthropologie vibes) so it makes it a super convenient one stop shop (instagrammable too!) If you’re staying at their hotel (affiliated with the store), you’ll have a convenient shuttle service that runs back and forth from the hotel to the store a few times a day. This was SO helpful for us who wanted to stay somewhere a little bit quieter with NICE amenities and a private pool while still being able to access tons of stores and local life. Not needing to haggle with car services and knowing that we’d always have a ride as long as we let the employees know ahead of time and show up at the appropriate times made out stay in Ubud so, so convenient. The employees here are also so kind and go above and beyond to make sure that our vacation was the best that it could be. I would 100000%...
Read moreThe business lives up to its name. Bitter and sweet. We had 6 people come in on a Saturday, 10:30 am. No one else was in the restaurant, no other customers.
Cafe looked beautiful, nice unique decor. We had a good time looking at the decor. After we ordered, the waitress told us it will take a while, to us that meant 30-45 minutes, which we were okay with. It ended up taking 1 hour 20 minutes for everything to come out.
So, bitter, because the wait was way too long. Sweet because the cafe and food was good. If you don’t mind waiting +1 hour for breakfast when there is no one else in the restaurant, yes I recommend, hence the 3 stars. Again, good was great but honestly we wouldn’t have eaten here if we would have know it would be +1 hour to get our...
