I’m so glad we found Dewa’s new location. We used to eat here all the time when they were located at Jalan Monkey Forest, and were so disappointed when they were not there anymore this time.
Dewa has been a staple for backpackers, hipsters, and flashpackers alike. The menu is quite large and offers both vegetarian and carnivore options at very reasonable prices and high quality food. One of my favourites are the Tempe Curry, Nasi Campur, and the Fried ferns with grated coconut.
The new location is unfortunately a bit remote, you’ll need your own transport or hire a Gojek to get there. There are about 8 tables, some facing the street, and a few nicer ones in the backyard. Their juices are nice too and WiFi is fast enough to do your basic things online.
