I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a grilled burger that simply blew my taste buds away. From the very first bite, it was clear that this was no ordinary burger. To write this review breaks my heart.. I have never written a negative review for a restaurant. I’ve been dining at Grill’d restaurants in Australia at least twice a week for the past 5 years and therefore see it as my moral obligation as a true patron of the Grill’d franchise to inform the managers of the poor quality food they’re allowing to be served under the honourable Grill’d name. I do this in order to provoke real change. Where do I begin.. The chips were burnt. The beef patty fell apart and consisted of a very off putting taste and scent. The lettuce was brown. The sauces tasted foul and that’s before I even compare the vast differences yet identical names to the sauces in Grill’d Australia. The overall quality of the food was appalling, especially considering they’re charging Australian prices. It gets worse. Later my partner and I experienced severe food poisoning which we directly related to the meal. I went into that restaurant with utmost excitement, I left disappointed and later physically ill. Only writing this because something has to change, if it doesn’t I don’t see this place making it to the end...
