I had the pleasure of visiting Nue Bali restaurant and experienced a culinary journey that truly impressed. For my main course, I opted for the lamb rack, cauliflower purée, and chimichurri sauce, followed by mango cheesecake for dessert.
The lamb rack was perfectly cooked to medium-rare, juicy and tender with a delightful grilled flavor. It was accompanied by a creamy cauliflower purée that was balanced and rich in flavor, and the chimichurri sauce provided a fresh and herby contrast that complemented the dish wonderfully.
The mango cheesecake for dessert was a top-notch flavor experience. It was delicate, with a creamy texture that melted in the mouth, and had a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess from the mango sauce.

I ordered the lamb, which is a very expensive dish in Bali.. Places like Merah Putih, Bambu, Sangsaka and the like don't even have dishes this expensive.
The waitress came to me about 8 minutes after i had ordered and said the cauliflower puree is not ready would you like some extra carrot or beetroot instead, to which I replied, (they were preparing to plate the dish at this stage).
I am about to pay 350k for this dish and you aren't able to prepare the cauliflower puree...
the chef then hesitantly said he would make it, which indicates to me they couldn't be bothered.
I am living in Bali and regularly eat out at higher end restaurantants At places like Merah, Bambu and Longtime, I am welcomed back with open arms everytime I go and the service is always world class.
Considering they had no customers you would think they would go above and beyond to secure some business.

Friendly and professional staff that I immediately put to the test with a Margarita. In the end I drank three. A mixology ability that has nothing to envy to European standards. I ate a Grilled Octopus with canellini beans and a kind of turnip tops. Very good. I also ordered a Cesar salad that was brought to me together with the octopus and the surprising thing is that the breaded cooked chicken remained warm and crispy the whole time even though I had consumed the octopus first.
