Sometimes, you forget you miss something only after you see it and remember about it. I love the Cinnabon cinnamon rolls in the US, as well as the ones that Disneyland sells on Main Street. Both of those places in the US will accommodate you wanting extra frosting. But living in Indonesia for a few years now, cinnamon rolls just aren't a thing most places.
So this place fills that hole I didn't know that I had. They have these soft, delicious cinnamon rolls that might be as good as the 2 places I mentioned above, but it's been years for them, so it might just be the time since I had them.
Get them warm. They are amazing. They had 3 frosting options when we ordered (OG, cream cheese, and lemon) and I ordered extra of each, even though only OG/CC for the rolls, so I could at least try all 3 flavors they offer. All of them are good, but the lemon was probably last place.
The OG is sort of the regular cinnamon roll frosting most places have, and the CC is the kind of cream cheese frosting that I have loved for most of my life on carrot cake and/or red velvet cake. This is cream cheese frosting done right. Yes, done right. It's a different sort of flavor experience on the cinnamon rolls, but still a delight.
So if you're like me and possibly given up on having cinnamon rolls here in Indonesia, you have hope again! This place will fill that need you didn't even know you had.
Oh, and I almost forgot the best part.
DR. PEPPER!!!
Yes, that's right, this place (and Manhattan Slice, which I think are owned by the same people) have cans of Dr. Pepper that you can order with your food here and there. That alone makes this place worthy of 5 stars, since these might be the only 2 places in Bali that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the most delightful experience with the cinnamon rolls and cappuccino! The pistachio cinnamon roll was an absolute standoutāso rich, flavorful, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. Every bite was heavenly and made me want to savor it as slowly as possible. The cappuccino paired beautifully with the rolls, balancing the sweetness with its creamy, aromatic flavor.
And letās not forget the packagingāit was so thoughtfully designed and incredibly cute! You can tell a lot of care and love went into not just the taste but the presentation as well. It felt like a special little treat from the moment I opened it. Iām already looking forward to going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCinnamon rolls are average, small size and sweet. tasty but definitely not wow. I tried both: original and cream cheese. not much difference between them and underbaked as for my taste.. but service is awful.. i came to an empty place without other guests near 11 am, said hello and took a seat. after 10 min or so, as no one staff gave attention to me, i had to politely ask if they just making rolls or selling them too?) after it, somebody finally noticed my presence and asked what i want? but no menu, nor any showcase or whatever provided. i tried to order one roll and a coffe. but unfortunately big and nice coffe-machine was out of work...
