First off: Great place, nice atmosphere, lovely staff. I‘ve only had an espresso so I cannot talk about any other items on the menu.
I was a bit disappointed because they seem to be so focused on coffee that I was expecting an elaborate taste, and maybe a couple of options of beans to choose from. Instead they have an „espresso blend“ that’s roasted so much, it just kills off all the interesting parts of the bean. While I’m aware that lighter roasts and higher levels of acidity are not for everyone and probably most people prefer their coffee „the Italian way“, I would have expected at least one lighter, maybe single origin option based on their marketing. They do seem to have lighter options for other brewing methods so why not offer one for espresso as well? Anyway, when it comes to „traditional“ espresso, this one here is surely a good option, I just want to adjust expectations for those who, like me, get confused by...
Read moreGoat Father is a beautiful surprise nestled right in the center of Canggu. I stopped by for a late morning coffee and brunch, and it truly delivered on all fronts.
The coffee exceptional. I tried their Iced Charcoal Latte and the house special, Goat Latte. Both were beautifully crafted, distinctive in flavor, and left a lasting impression. It’s rare to find coffee that feels both bold and balanced, and they’ve nailed it.
For brunch, I had the Ciabatta Caprese, fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully assembled. A perfect light option that paired wonderfully with the coffee.
The space itself is well-designed with plenty of seating, and perhaps most conveniently, easy parking (a small luxury in Canggu!). Whether you're popping in for a quick coffee or planning to linger with friends, it suits either mood.
I’ll absolutely be back,...

Dropped by upon a recommendation of my friends. They recommended to Ryan’s (the barista in glasses) pour over.
Spoke to their team for a bit, and they recommended me the bali mt Kintamani coffee. It was a deviation from the usual washed coffees I’m used to but Ryan recommended it as it is reflective of the style of coffee found in Balinese specialty coffee.
While it is a bit more citrus than what I’m used to, I found it an enjoyable cup. Ryan also shared abit of his unique espresso machine and his setup. You can feel his passion, see the pride in his work and hear the product knowledge he possess when talking about coffee.
Really enjoyed the visit and will be back next time...
