Al Jazeera Restaurant in Bandung offers a much-needed escape for anyone craving Middle Eastern flavors after indulging in Indonesian dishes for a while. After a week of enjoying Padang cuisine, we were eager to dive into some spicy, aromatic Middle Eastern food, and Al Jazeera delivered.
The food was satisfying—rich in flavor and spice, with a variety of dishes that brought the essence of the Middle East to the table. While it may not have an overwhelming menu, the options they do offer are well-prepared and hit the spot for anyone missing that bold, fragrant cuisine.
The service was solid, with the staff being attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance was also pleasant—simple but inviting, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy your meal.
Overall, Al Jazeera is a good choice in Bandung if you're looking for Middle Eastern food, especially since the city doesn't have many other options in this genre. It might not be the most extensive menu, but it certainly makes up for it in flavor...
Read moreWe go here because we're bored with chinese, western, and indonesian food. So we've found this middle eastern gem with thousands of nice review in Gmaps. Ambience There's not much people when we've come here, so we can choose any kind of table we want. We can lesehan or sit with a comfy sofa here. The ambience here is also so middle eastern where we found a bit unique because we don't go to middle east restaurant so often. They have ornament that is nice to look at. and many photo spot too.
The Food. We ordered Ruz Mandhi Lamb, Shawarma Lamb, and Curry Chicken. The Mandhi Rice is good with our taste and the lamb meat is very juicy. It's quite refreshing food for us since this is kind of new for us. So very worth it to try.

Read moreI really enjoyed the food. I bought briyani chicken rice, cheese sambosa and arab champagne, they were all great. The briyani rice was perfect combination amazing taste of herbs but not too strong, not bland. Quite big portion for me, quite overprized. Cheese sambosa was great too, the cheese was okay and the sambosa was crispy. Arabic champagne was very fresh after having the meal, it got apples and lemons in it. We also ordered arab tea which was strong black tea and mint, was great too. The ambient was kinda great very spacious place, private, and the staffs were very helpful and nice. They also served quite fast. You also can pay here cardless, i used qris. The place was quiet (not lot of people were there). But we wondered why they played indo music there, we thought they would play arabic music. I think it would suit the place better if they play...
