JUMBO eatery — Restaurant in Bandung City

(18/04/2022) It's been a while since my last time came in here around 2019, it was good although not memorable enough that I would think twice before trying to revisit and now I have the chance to do so. Parking space is a bit wonky for cars, for bikes it's spacious enough since the management cramp it so hard to fit those bikes in. Menu is as expected from the title of the restaurant, everything is jumbo in size comparison, from the drinks (Iced Tea and Vanilla Milkshake) and the beverages we ordered (Tenderloin Steak Jumbo and Sop Buntut). Their Steak is good but gets a bit chewy for some pieces, maybe it's due to the uneven cooking surface when they cooked it (it was around Iftar time @ Ramadan), got the blackpepper sauce which is OK in my book. The sop buntut is good but a bit of input for them, just don't scam your customer for having bigger bowl = more meat in it, just go humble size for that particular one. Fries is good though I want a bit more salt on those. And that concluded my visit. I would revisit again which chance of not my first option, so you get a 4/5 in my review this time. As for payment they take cash and debit cards, as far as I can tell they have QRIS too if wallet isn't a thing anymore...

Well, the place and vibe is good, in the street of martadinata-riau where u can find a lot of food in the wholestreet. Price is average, while u think this is cheap, with their slogan, yeah better u guys try it and in my opinion it is not cheap like what the promotion is. Parking space is quiet big, no wories while driving car or motorcycle, and the security is helpfull.

This review is based on what I feel and serve. One star is for: *Drink serve after 2 times remind to the staff of my order and the food already serve in my table, *Food serve without eating tools, after several minutes then comes the stuff I need (fork and knife), *Cold food for what I order is steak, serve like after half and hour ago after they grill it, *SOP need improve a lot, where while receive payment the cashier just silent, (I think nowadays in this biz saying thanx, recomfirmation with what you order is in blood) and this happen only to me while 2 guest before me I hear the cashier saying thank U and serve well while payment, *Bonuses flies(lalat) while I eating, the flies come to my plate and can go away stuck with the sauce, LOL...

Overall, this review for improvement, feel free guys to try (not so)...

Komen subjektif : Mau kasih bintang 5 ga jadi.. karena steak gw disajikan di nampan, bukan piring 😒😒...jadi agak geuleh. Rasa steaknya flat.. biasa saja.. ga spesial.. Sausnya asin doang yang kerasa.

Komen objektif : Cocok bgt buat loe pade yang mau makan steak beneran (bukan daging terigu goreng) tapi harga masih manusiawi. Cocok bgt buat bawa keluarga dan temen rame2, banyak menu dan porsi jumbo. Buat aman kalo loe mau makan steak, bawa duit minimal 80 rebu (sudah minum dan pajak). Kalo niat cuman makan nasi goreng + minum teh bawa duit 50 rebu.

STEAK WAGYU Review : (=) steaknya harganya cukup miring. steak beneran.. bukan steak boongan yang di bungkus terigu goreng. (=) jika lihat harga levelnya di kisaran Carnivor, di bawah Abuba dikit. (+) banyak menu selain steak. (+) banyak menu makanan nusantara kaya konro,baso, sop buntut. (+) sayurnya enak dan empuk (mungkin overcook). (+) ada menu wagyu murah .. tapi cukup aneh bagi gw yang biasa makan daging berserat.. jadi kaya makan kornet.. maap gw emang yang kampungan. (+) potato mashed enak.. kaya di kasih bumbu lagi.. enggak seret di tenggorokan kaya tempat steak lain. (-)steak tingkat kematangan belum stabil, gw pesen medium.. pas dimakan sebagian besar medium well.. sisanya medium rare. (- - -) ini yang paling MERUSAK selera.. Steak gw di sajikan di nampan logam ( gw ga bisa bilang itu piring ).. Jadi bukan serasa makan di restoran. Karena di tempat gw nampan logam gini buat gelas piring bukan makanan. Kalo di taruh di piring keramik akan lebih baik.

SPAGETI (Rp.38.500)review : (+) gw pesen karbonara, rasanya enakk. (+) krim kejunya kerasa bgt (+) ada slice daging asap kecil (++) porsinya bisa buat 2 orang (++) ada besi buat effect melayang ( lihat foto gw ). lucu buat di foto. tapi ngeganggu bgt kalo pas makan.. harus di singkirin dulu. (+) harga / rasa lumayanlah.. tidak menyecewakan.

NASI MAWUT (Rp.22.000)review: (-)Nasinya di sajikan di wajan kecil, gw agak ga nyaman makannya. Tapi cukup kreatif.Unik. (+) Rasa lumayan enak (++) porsi banyak bisa buat 2 orang (+) Dapet krupuk dan acar

MIE PEDAS KOREA(Rp.28.000) review: (+) di sajikan di mangkok besar. (++) ini porsi bisa buat makan 2 orang..minta mangkok kecil ke pramusaji buat paroan sama temen loe. (=) rasa mie biasa saja.. kaya mie telor pasar tapi agak lebih enak dikit (+) kuah pedas, cocok yang suka pedes. Pedea asli dari cabe.. bukan pedes kimia. (+) ada toping baso ikan dan sejenisnya (+) ada sayur walaupun dikit.

Minuman : (+) gw pesen teh tawar, 6rb, gelasnya jumbo. (++) es teh manis juga gelasnya jumbo, harga 8 rb.

Lain-lain: (+) cocok yang bawa anak.. bisa lari2. (+) parkir luas, motor dan mobil. (+) meja kursi banyak 1,5 x dari Carnivor. (+) area duduk luas. (+) smoking dan non smoking area. (+) pramusaji ramah. (+) ada area main anak ..walaupun cuman prerosotan. (+) lokasi dekat tempat belanja / FO.
