A quiet and calming restaurant serving indonesian and western dishes located near the railway crossing in Jalan Sumatra.
The atmosphere here is really nice, a silent and calming-white decor could really give you the tranquility side of an ever-trafficky city of Bandung.
As for the food, i gave them a solid score as in most of their menu are actually quite unique and tasty, not that kind of an experimental thingy you would catch on elsewhere. My favorite is their Onde-Onde Telur Asin, which is a traditional market snack that is consist of a sweet rice flour ball that is covered in sesame seeds and in Boja case, it is filled with a salted egg on the inside. Yummy! (Oh and be careful when eating it, as it came served from the kitchen really hot)
For the service for this eating spot, they utilize a smart robot to serve your menu to your table, very cute right? And i would give it a 5 stars. As for the human waiters, not so much. I would say that they show polite and competent attitude, but some of them aren't quite generous in showing positive emotions. It often makes me feel that i'm bothering them, although i am the customers. It's not a big of a deal in my opinion, but perhaps a little more joy and smiles would complement the tranquil atmosphere into a warm and comfy space for people to have some solitary moment from the outside.
In conclusion, it's a must-go places if you are near Jalan Sumatra if you are looking for new kinds of menu and some quite time in Bandung.
P.s. they also have free ice cream on sunday. (T&C...
Read moreProbably I expect too high of this place, though the nice ambience and lighthnings, this place doesn't offer u a memorable dining experience. I ordered vietnamiese fried rice and it came quite thailandnese with a light tom yam flavour, i add a message to make it spicy but probably the cheff has a different level of spicyness because the taste is quite bland not to mention that the portion is not generous..so dont come hungry. The sambal matah beef steak said to be the best dishes, yet no sambal matah on the plate, only a slight flavour of it. I came around 3p.m. yet they had run out their best seller desserts..in fact, no desserts are available..weird..The bitterballen with smoked beef tastes so so..and the smoked beef is quite microscopic. If u come to have good instagrammable photos then u might want to try this place, sadly..i love eating good food more than...
Read moreMy review for this place might be considered not complete because I came here and only tried their breakfast menu.
Atmosphere was nice, no jokes. You can see from the pics.
Service was nice. The waitress were polite but it took 20 mins to get out one menu of Nasi Kuning. And I was the first customer of that morning.
Food, the nasi kuning I had was good. I didn't mind paying 20K for it because the taste and portion was worth every cent. Good portion, good taste also, the shredded chicken was the star, it was good. I will definitely come back to try...
