La Baraga Cafe — Restaurant in Bandung City

This is like a tourist trap and I do not understand all these positive critics. I ordert the mixed meat platter with French Fries. The sausage was just terrible and the chicken steak was horribly dry. Not fresh at all. The beefsteak was almost welldone and I ordered medium rare. The veggies weren't eatable. No taste at all. I had three beers and went to pay. 495.000 what is anyway too much but I knew before. They offered me to pay by card and without any information they tried to book 650.000 IDR. I asked why and they were telling me its because I pay with VISA card. Ususlly it is 3% for them and according to their VISA contract, they are not allowed to put it on the bill of the customer. But the tried to take 30% what is not only violating their Visa cobtract, it is illegal and a cheating. Doing this with no word making lots of extra money by VISA. Of course I will inform VISA about that because this kind of moneytaking is agInst all rules and fairness. The customer pays his part anyway but also pays 10x the VISA fee for this restaurant.. Sunday, 21st of Jan 2024 was my very first time visiting Bandung, specifically Braga street. This place was already on my "Must Visit" list, and it was a totally perfect choice! Eventhough it was first day of weekdays so there were only 8 people there including me and my girlfriend, I was having a blast! For 210k rupiah I got 4 bottles of beers and med size peperoni pizza. And the home band was the best part! Excellent Sunday afternoon at the "LB"!.... Heineken & Bintang cold but will have to return to check out their "Fish & Chips" shown on there extensive menu! Prices very acceptable and service "second to none"!!!......
