Yumaju is one of those rare coffee shops that actually have regulars; and thats for a reason. In its Young age of a little over a year, they were able to create a small little community, that many come back to over and over again. Don't feel threatened though, because even though many people in yumaju already know each other, they always try to make you feel at home with their unique service.
On top of all that its also worth mentioning that they have the best coffee in town, and unlike other coffee shops that don't actually serve real food, they have a whole variety of different food (that they also try to update every once in a while to keep things interesting). If you are not a coffee person, they also serve good tea and great chocolate milkshake. All their cakes, pastry and cookies are also well curated. For the health conscious people put there, they even have Kombucha. Just ask.
Also worth mentioning that they set a quiet area zone in the indoor area, which makes it suitable for people who are looking for a quiet place to work. They also have decent wifi (not the best in town, but more decent than most).
All in all Yumaju is the best place for people are looking for not just coffee, but a place to call..home.

Read moreNice concept from yumaju, you don’t have to feel like strangers here, cause you can share table with others, the barista will escort you even they will introduce you with people who will share the table with you. You can order food from blackpepper and eat here or vice versa. You can choose your own bean, you can try the manual brew as well. I ordered latte, from beans Si Raja Biak (espresso based). If you seat outside, you can order food that basically from hotplate, however you can’t enjoy the food inside cause it will ruin the ‘coffee atmosphere’. So the food contain white rice topped with leeks, corns, pepper and slice beef, and half cooked eggs. All is well...

I had 2 Cappuccino and one Tahu Cabai Garam as well as a Chicken Fried Rice.
Their Cappuccino was Really Really Good. Tahu Cabai Garam was decent. But their Spicy Fried Rice was not great. It felt like it was just precooked and just heated. Really love the coffee but felt bad for ordering the Nasi Goreng.
I know it's not a place to dine but more like to have some snacks and bread with your coffee. But I couldn't help it. We spent almost 7 hours there. Ambience is great. There are a lot...
