MASA — Restaurant in Bandung City

Masa is always the place I visit every time Im in Bandung, my dearest friend introduced me to this place, love the variety food and drinks, and mostly they are good in any capacity, taste, portion and timely serve. No complaints! Only thing to consider, is about the service, the most important of all. I experienced a weird counter when my bills is wrongly closed while Im still eating, very specific one, closed with Cash payment, the staff approached me to pay with cash, but I don't use cash most of the time, Im a bit surprised that she suggested for me to transfer the money to her account. Ive been handling restaurants for quite sometimes and understood about payment policy, and how POS worked, and I don't think it's ethical, to transfer the money to your staff. At the end I asked her to be more flexible and I still want to pay with my card, and it's okay, we did it, no problem at all. Because it was slightly uncomfortable for me as cust, when there's a time the staff ask my number, idk what for? She didn't even answer when I ask what for. I understand mistakes often happens. My suggestion as caring customers and fellow F&B fighters, conduct strategic training for your service team to approach cust with better problem solving, and came up with solutions not confusions. Strength: Good food and comfortable for hang out. Surprisingly the restaurant is also family friendly. Random picked the food, mostly is delicious.

Weakness: (-) Sadly the waiters have poor Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). They keep taking the small trashes on the table as well as changing the ashtray even it is not full yet, it happens so sudden and more than once in an hour. The waiters just pop up beside your arm and take the trash and said "pardon, we take the trash" so many times. They need to change the time interval.

(-) The waiters also ask you a lot of time when to order when you arrive, even without the visitor notice or confirm. As we are ready to order, we ask what is the best seller menu, they tend to get confused.

(-) The waiters also take the finished dishes too quick! (my friend and I even count it, less than 1 minute, that's so crazy). It is so uncomfortable and creating the vibe of the waiter as if like they are telling you to get out asap after meal. So bad.

(-) ladies toilet has big transparent look alike window which seems disturbing for the people who wait for the queue to toilet.

Overall, I hope this restaurant changes into better coz the food is tasty and place is quite...

✨Ambience: Well, it’s kinda a fancy restaurant and bar. Cozy enough and they have big ventilations for air. (8/10) for the place.

🥘 Chicken Melt (5/10), Rp.70.000 🍝 Spaghetti Green Pesto (6/10), Rp.45.000 🍰 Green Tea Layer Cake (10/10), Rp.35.000 🍺 Iced Strawberry Tea (7/10), Rp.25.000 🍴 F&B: Well, I’ll start from the Green Tea Layer Cake. It’s super recommended!!! Super tasty omg, the green tea taste so balance because it’s not too bitter and not too sweet. For Spaghetti Green Pesto to be honest has a good taste but.. The platting is sooooo bad! They don’t put the pasta nicely and there is no edible flower. I mean, this spaghetti only has a few mushrooms, at least if the edible flower existed then the customer will not look at this food as a boring one. About the Chicken Melt, it’s super standard for that price.. BUT, the mushroom sauce is SOOOOO GOOOOODDD!!! (5/10) is for the chicken, but for the mushroom sauce I’ll give (10/10)! Iced Strawberry Tea just standard, nothing special. And they gave us a cup pf cendol as a free takjil but it tastes really awful :(. Overall (7/10)...
