What was meant to be a relaxing and straight forward getaway turned out to be a big mess. I booked the package which includes a 4hrs treatment, accommodation, return ferry and ferry centre pick up. I turned up at Batamfast ferry office to be told they don't have my tickets, I have to pay extra to just get on the ferry, that made me concerned and i got in touch with the hotel, to be told that they don't have my booking and would not arrange to pick me up. Neither the hotel nor me could contact the spa as it was before their opening hour. I waited at the ferry terminal till the spa contacted me and instead of picking me at the ferry terminal, I had to walk to the mall across (to wait again) for the pick up. When I finally got to the spa, I was told the hotel room that was meant for me was no longer available. I had half the mind to get the next ferry back to SG given all these misfortune. The staff at the spa was apologetic and was looking for an alternative accommodation for me. In the end I booked a hotel through my trip.com account for a better rate. The logistic was a nightmare. Massage was good, nothing to shout about the other treatments I received. The cleanliness of the rooms/toilets is questionable. The water for the milk bath looked grey instead of white, the jacuzzi was spraying like a fountain instead of jets. The tub was just sprayed clean instead of properly wiped down. Read moreArrived at the hotel July 10th, prior to check in time at about 12 noon. Walked into Grand Majesty Spa, looking for where to check in. Booked the room thru a 3rd party website. Asked reception where to check in, and the guy said, “Here”. No greetings, no welcome, just a very cold approach. Handed over my passport to be registered. And alongside that, asked if my parking could be redeemed since I was going to stay at the hotel. He directly said no, didn’t offer any options, and even mentioned nearest parking would be in Nagoya Hill Mall at basement level. Even mentioned that it would be chargeable without any hesitation. I felt taken aback. |After some discussion with the owner who happened to be there and intervened the convo, he offered for me complimentary parking. In which I thanked him for. |Thereafter, I did mention that I requested for early check in through the booking, and he directly said no. Said check in would be at 2pm. Even mentioned I had to pay 100,000IDR if I wanted to check in and have the room early. |I then mentioned I wanted to leave my bags to be kept at reception. Asked for a bag tag but say he didn’t have 1. During the ride, my husband thought he had left his watch at the spa. Your company driver went above and beyond by promptly contacting the spa team and requesting a search for the missing watch. She even kindly offered to return to the spa, retrieve the watch, and deliver it to us at the restaurant. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we realized that the watch had been safely in my husband’s pocket all along.
Despite this, we were deeply touched to receive a video update from your spa team shortly after, showing their efforts in searching for the watch. This level of commitment and genuine care speaks volumes about your dedication to customer satisfaction.
