I recently dined at Ichiban Sushi, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the staff's attitude needed significant improvement. Their lack of politeness and manners was quite disappointing. It felt like they needed a lot more training in customer service.
The first impression matters, and in this case, it was far from welcoming. The staff's demeanor was indifferent, and they seemed disinterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. It's essential for a restaurant to prioritize customer service, and Ichiban Sushi fell short in this aspect.
Moving on to the food, it was a letdown as well. The menu had a promising selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes, but the taste was disappointingly ordinary. I was hoping for something special, a burst of flavors that would make this restaurant stand out, but sadly, that didn't happen. The dishes lacked that unique, memorable quality that sets excellent sushi places apart.
Adding to my disappointment was the lack of air conditioning in the establishment. Dining in a hot and uncomfortable environment is far from enjoyable, and the absence of air conditioning made the overall experience less than pleasant. It's crucial for a restaurant, especially one serving hot dishes, to maintain a comfortable temperature for its patrons.
Lastly, the staff's lack of assistance compounded the issues I encountered during my visit. Whether it was with menu recommendations or addressing concerns about the temperature, the staff did not seem interested in helping or making my dining experience better.
In conclusion, my visit to Ichiban Sushi left me unsatisfied on multiple fronts. The staff's lack of politeness and manners, combined with the ordinary taste of the food and the absence of air conditioning, made for an underwhelming dining experience. I hope that the management takes these criticisms seriously and works on improving the overall quality of the restaurant. Until then, I cannot recommend Ichiban Sushi to others seeking a pleasant...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I are on holiday and had the absolute displeasure of eating here.
My girlfriend informed me that in such hot humid weather she would like some sushi, particularly salmon. Upon arriving we ordered a nigiri platter, 2 drinks and teriyaki beef nigiri.
The food arrived after a 35 minute wait in which we saw another table get their food earlier than us after arriving 10 minutes after us. When it did arrive we both agreed that this was by far the worst sushi we had ever had. The salmon nigiri was so thin that it was splitting over the rice, the rice was nothing like sushi rice, the tuna tasted like tender soap and the beef was extremely tough and there was cartilage crunching within my bites.
Our servers also forgot to provide us with our second drink we ordered until we reminded them and we found out the original drink we ordered was put on another person's table.
My girlfriend and I couldnt manage to finish our food after arriving starving from a long day. We saw fellow tourists arrive and advised them not to dine there as our experience was so bad.
I wish we had seen the previous google reviews prior to dining however in our hunger frenzy we ordered without any second thought. Please learn from our mistake and avoid this place...
Read moreMade an order for 210K. Portions are miserably small. Packaging: 3 chopsticks wrapped into 1 tissue. All spices came in small packages. I started to have a feeling that the one who was packing all this had a background of a drug dealer. Spices were put into the same boxes with the food, so they were using the hands and touching the food, before they sent it to the customer. Fireworks!!👍👍 For some rolls and its’ serving, the cook’s hands must be cut to shoulders. The quality of the rolls was poor. Rolls were falling apart, the stuffing was hilariously scarce. They put not a slice of the fish, but a torn piece of a substance, which can be barely called “salmon’s leftovers”. I am not sure that the place worths it’s price. I would be ashamed to invite a girlfriend to this viper. And I’d think trice before hanging out there with my friends. Resolution for customers: expensive trash bin, which offers poor quality for crazy expensive prices. Recommendation to the owner: fire the whole team and review the whole process. Maybe sushi is not your cup of tea, maybe Bakso Wagon or Mie Ayam will be done with better quality and justified...
