BJ’s Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

I don’t complain very often but it was easily the worst meal I have ever had in all my years going to Bali. I ordered Gado gado and the tofu was soggy n tasteless, the tempeh was not cooked n I’m sure it was off as I had to spit it back on the plate n they served it with chips instead of potato. The waitress came to clear the table n noticed I had hardly touched my meals when she asked if everything was ok I told her no, the food is terrible n inedible. We paid the bill n left never to return. I must add we were the only ones in the place cause we went there to watch the Scorchers play n didn’t even get to watch as their signal broke down Very disappointing...

The owner is amazing. Any concerns are resolved immediately. The experience between my first and 2nd visit was a change between 4.5 stars and 5. The service and hospitality is THAT good. I can tell no expense was spared with sourcing produce for the menu and I could definitely taste this with the quality of the ingredients, which explains the higher price. There's fans coming out the wazoo and I felt really comfortable and relaxed on a very humid night. I'd let my child eat hear with ZERO concern for food safety or quality.

Would I go back?...

And enjoyed great food too

The staff were so helpful and were as disappointed as we were when the internet kept dropping out during the second half.

They weren’t able to make me an iced ginger tea so I ordered a hot one and a glass of ice - it worked ok.

The chicken satay was some of the best I’ve ever eaten and the portion sizes were generous.
