DEKKO Sanur — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

Wow, What a surprise find. Dekko is opposite the Icon mall and attached to the Swastika Guesthouse. Had dinner with friends not knowing anything about the restaurant, but what an awesome place. One thing I crave in Bali is lamb, but after tonight I know where I’ll be going in future. I had the rack of lamb and requested it cooked rare, they nailed it. It was absolutely perfect! The fresh vegetables were also perfect. Not a single complaint. The service was amazing, very attentive but not over the top, the food came quickly and all together which was really nice, especially as my friends ordered mie gorang that obviously would have been ready faster but the staff knew well enough to bring all meals together, which is unusual in Bali, but very appreciated. Deeko was our go to place for Lunch and Dinner, we were regulars for the time we spent in Sanur. Great staff, very friendly service and most of all very cold beer accompanied with excellent meals. Your can watch your favorite sport, Golf, Boxing, NRL, ARL and plenty more. You need to visit when visiting Sanur, this business is directly across the road from Icon Mall, so it is easy to find and Wyan will be waiting to greet you at the door. Need to fire the manager or whoever the guy is in the orange shirt. Very unprofessional and argumentative about my order. I had ordered the salmon here several times before and was pleased but on this most recent occasion the fish was half the size as before. The guy tried to argue that this was normal size and even after I showed him pictures of my previous meals aa proof he got angry and wanted to argue even more. He eventually offered a small discount but what good is that if I'm still hungry? Do not frequent this place. They don't deserve the business because of their very poor and arrogant attitude.
