Apsari Artisan — Restaurant in Jakarta

I visited on Sunday, Oct 28 2024 for lunch with my little fam.. The waitress (women) gave us the menu and while we want to ordered some food such as Hungry man, pasta spicy creamy chicken, Sou-Preme steak sandwich but those foods are not available, next we ordered some desserts such as Skillet cookies and Chocolate Pots the waitress also said "we are no longer selling that dessert" what the hell??? why is it still in the menu? why is it not removed from the menu? Finally we ordered Apsari's Noods and the waitress suggest to order "Beast Pastrami" we ordered that foods. And 10 minutes later the waitress came to us and said "Beast Pastrami" wasn't available.. How come??? Yesterday we came for lunch at 12.30 pm but almost all the menu are not available, really disappointed my first impression of coming...

Great ads campaign all over the mall, and that was what brought us in, the Pastrami Sandwich ads. I love big sandwiches & i Love pastrami, and the word "Beast Pastrami" says it all, or so i thought. Since it was a limited offer, thus it was not in the menu. To my surprise when it was served, well nothing 'beast' about it. Great marketing skill, however you're missing the disclaimer 'Picture Is For Illustrative Purpose Only'. The overall sandwich flavor itself was good, however fats were not trimmed enough, referring to quite a big chunk chewy & inedible. Service was okay, polite & hospitable servers. Restaurant vibe was warm & welcoming. For the deception i felt, for sure i won't be returning. Quite a pity, rests of the other menu looked quite...

Great service, great atmosphere, but bad food.

The steak sandwich is out, so the pastrami is recommended. The beast pastrami is not really a pastrami, but a tough piece of meat sandwich.

As someone who loves pastrami, sadly this menu is really lacking. The one who made this menu should either improve their skill on making the pastrami, or they shouldn’t release this menu.

When I chew the pastrami, my jaw is tired. When I cut the pastrami, my hands are tired because the meat is really tough and you have to apply a lot of force. I had to send it to the back to cut the sandwich into small pieces and let me teeth do the work.

This place is hyped up, so please fix the pastrami. Other than that the rest of the food are...
