Din Tai Fung — Restaurant in Jakarta

I ordered a few types of food, 1 xiao long bao, 1 fried prawn mayonnaise, 1 lumpia kulit tahu.

First of all dont ever order xiao long bao for delivery and for DIN TAI FUNG a suggestion for ur restaurant pls remove xiao long bao for delivery menu and do like others dimsum restaurant do in food delivery app. Its become cold, the skin is tough and taste just SO SO.

2ND thing, the fried prawn mayonnaise is fried badly, soggy and taste is 4 out of 10 for me.

3rd thing, the lumpia kulit tahu is just bleghhhhh taste is 3 out of 10, soggy, oily, makes me want to throw up from the first bite.

I remember din tai fung was good back in the days which is yearssssss ago.. now, im never gonna ever visit or order anything from din tai fung ever again. Worth of money is definitely not worth every penny that i paid. I dont mind to pay even 500k rupiah for 1 person meal at chinese or dimsum restaurant but this is the worst 359k rupiah I've ever spent for food just for me to throw to the trash...

We ordered the Jiao Zi Vegetarian Jamur and the Fried Lumpia, paired with Chinese Tea. Both dishes were light yet flavorful: the dumplings were fresh with a nice earthy taste from the mushrooms, while the lumpia was crisp and satisfying without being too heavy. The tea rounded out the meal perfectly.

Service was excellent — staff were responsive and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience in that hour was simply ideal: serene, comfortable, and heartwarming. The seating arrangement felt open and relaxed, encouraging easy conversation.

The most delicious and the most consistently delicious xiaolongbao in town. Never dissapoint. We have came here often and always enjoy their fresh, delicious and yummy bao. Always.

Tried their mala chicken noodle also, not only the excellent spiciness, the tenderness of the chicken, but the soft but chewy noodle texture is at another level.

Oh, and let not me waste time on the describing one of the best mango pudding in town. You just got to order one and feel the calmness and happiness that dessert made you.
