VIN+ Arcadia — Restaurant in Jakarta

Definitely one of my favorite spots when I’m craving a good glass of wine and a tasty cheese platter!

The location is strategic and easy to access (not inside a mall), so you can park nearby and walk straight in.

VIN+ never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and their sommelier is great at giving spot-on recommendations that make the experience even better.

Yes, the wine prices are a bit higher compared to the country of origin, but totally fair since they’re imported.

The cheese platter was really good! Nicely curated, fresh, and served in great condition just like the wines. They clearly know how to store and serve their selection properly, thanks to their wine cellar.

There’s a wide variety of wines from different countries, so it’s a fun place to explore new flavors. The interior has a bit of an old-school vibe, but in a nice way. It feels cozy and suits the classic wine house atmosphere, with dim lighting and a relaxed mood.

They offer both proper dining tables and lounge-style sofa seating, so you can choose the vibe you’re in the mood for.

The only downside for me and my partner was the indoor smoking area, which isn’t great for non-smokers.

I was waiting for the traffic to get better at 10:45 pm and was considering Vin+ to be one of the places I wanted to go. Because I I know they close at 12 am, I called them in advance asking if they can still accept walk-in guests if we arrive around 11pm cause we want to walk there. They informed me yes they do but we had to leave at exact 12, and I thought kkay no worries.

Ended up walking to Vin+ from Fairmont by foot around 15 mins and when we got there, they told us they CAN’T ACCEPT US, like wth? I told them you’re supposed to call me back cause we walked far, and nope, all they said was sorry because their manager said no after I hang up.

I mean.. I understand that they want to close at exactly 12 am, but dude, what’s the hard part about calling back instead of letting us walk quite far (in heels too). What a service.. not gonna go...

VIN+ terletak di Plaza Arcadia. Kalau kalian dari Plaza Senayan, bisa akses dari pintu menuju area parkir & nyebrang.

Tempatnya cukup nyaman buat bersantai. Di dalam ada berbagai jenis wine maupun minuman alkohol lainnya. Kalau mau pesan wine by glass juga bisa.

Seating areanya super nyaman & cocok buat bersantai maupun kerja. Suasana lampunya agak remang, ambiencenya jadi makin cozy. Tempatnya pun agak private, pengunjung yang berlalu lalang nggak bisa ngeliat ke dalam ruangan.

Buat menunya, saya mencoba :

Red Wine by Glass (IDR 120k)

Wine yang disajikan pas buat tenan makan. Alkoholnya nggak terlalu strong, rasanya nggak pahit.

Aroma red winenya wangi, rasanya sedikit asam namun tidak meninggalkan after taste berlebih.

Flavored Ice Tea Lychee (IDR 47k)

Segelas berisi teh dengab potongan lychee. Rasa lycheenya asam, pas buat menetralisir rasa manis dari perisa lycheenya.

Aroma tehnya cukup wangi, namun rasanya sedikit over sweet.

Pan Seared Scallop with Black Truffle

Scallopnya segar dan renyah. Sausnya creamy dan gurih dengan perpaduan garlic dan cheese. Aroma trufflenya pun cukup wangi dan gurih.

Casava Truffle (IDR 85k)

Tepung singkongnya renyah dan gurih. Teksturmya pas, nggak alot maupun terlalu empuk.

Truffle oilnya wangi dengan spicy mayo yang creamy dan sedikit pedas. Mayonaissenya juga nggak berbau amis. Garlic crustnya wangi dan gurih.

Barramundi Woku

Rasanya benar-benar nikmat. Daging barramundinya segar dengan kulit yang renyah dan gurih.

Sausnya thick dengan taste yang cukup strong. Perpaduan rasa asam dan pedasnya pas. Ukuran ikannya cukup besar & bisa dinikmati 1-2 orang.

Canadia Black Mussel with Mayo

Daging musselnya dibalur tepung roti dan renyah. Musselnya tidak berbau amis & gorengannya tidak oily.

Tomatnya segar, sedikit asam dan gurih. Pas buat menetralisir rasa musselnya.

Grand Marnier Souffle

Ukuran soufflenya cukup besar, bisa untuk share 1-2 orang. Souffle disajikan hangat dan bagian atasnya ada taburan gula yang menambah rasa manis. Namun menurutku rasanya sudah enak tanpa tambahan additional sugar di ataanya.

Rasa lemon pada soufflenya cukup strong dan disajikan dengan es krim vanila yang menambah rasa manis. . . Waktu penyajian beberapa menu sedikit lama. Namun untungnya ambience cukup nyaman sehingga waiting time tidak terasa...
