FJ on 7 — Restaurant in Jakarta

Came here on 5PM for light bites & drinks with a friend. Booking can be made on phone although on weekend the place is not too crowded.

Located on rooftop of Colony Kemang accessible by lift, the place has lots of seatings with view of Antasari & Wijaya street. There are fans for cooling, however the place is well-hooded so not so hot when it’s sunny - it’s open past 3PM as well. They play slow music but it can get a bit too loud, also occasionally holds live music & dj events.

Choice of food and drink is ok, I went with mozzarella stick & onion rings, the mozzarella is ok but the onion rings took a long time to make (probably the staff forgets to deliver) and it’s soggy & bitter. Not the best...

Never knew about this place untill i heard of it from a friend and least i expect is that it's a haven tucked away. Though you have a minimum amount to spend here, it's very much worth your money. The food is great, although it is a little bit small in terms of portion, it does make it up in terms of its taste and utter richness in flavour. The food here has so many nuances i can't simply describe as i wont give it enough justice. You have to try it out yourself or else you'd be missing out on a lot. Although there is one problem, when it rains, it gets a little... Messy, as I'd like to say. Though keep in mind who would come here of all places on a dreary day. In other words 5 stars...

The restaurant has a nice vibe and cozy interior. I would love to go back here again for the sake of the coziness of the place. Drinks that we ordered were pretty standard in terms of taste. Mine was green tea ice blend and it was too sweet for me. But the home made pizza was really delicious, love it! The downside was the amount of time we had to wait for our food because the waiter actually forget to register it to our order. I'm also not fond of the restroom. For such a pretty fancy restaurant like FJ on 7, the restroom was a bit on the dirty side. I thought it'll be much cleaner...
