Gokana Ramen & Teppan — Restaurant in Jakarta

didnt really expect anything because we only came here because the other places were closing and were too lazy to stroll around. we read the reviews and mostly said they “took time” to prepare their foods and they really did. we only order spicy beef and chicken ramen and 1 egg roll but we waited too long we thought they forgot our orders. when we got in, some tables were still messy and dirty from the previous customers. they seemingly also “took time” to immediately clean up and ended up with cleaning the tables next to us while we ate and that’s pretty uncomfortable.

I ordered Spicy Chicken Ramen but its not spicy at all. The Oden (fish ball) is tasteless and they are late serving. I take an order 10.30 and my meal ready almost 30 minutes later. And the nooddle is came from instant nooddle! The things that I curious about, they sell Ramen and Tepan but the staff using "Gadang's Hat" as their custom. Its more like Rumah Makan Padang than Japan's Ramen House. They dont sell Ocha and they use paper tissue like usually meet on Rumah Makan Padang. The place was clean and neat. I tried new menu called Kolagen Ramen (or). Basically the taste is okay, but the Kolagen Soup seems like Kuah Opor.
