Hunter and Grower — Restaurant in Jakarta

I had a lunch with my husband here yesterday. I wanted to visit this place for a long time since it’s a dog friendly place in Jakarta and there are not many places like that. Even though the taste of food was nice, we were waiting for the food forever and my husband didn’t feel well afterwards. Moreover we had our things stolen by the valet parking stuff. I forgot my glasses in the glove compartment and they were stolen together with e-money card. I contacted the manager first because I don’t want to leave negative reviews before figuring out the whole situation. The manager of the resto just replied «we asked our stuff, no one have stolen your things». It was the only place we visited yesterday and it was the only place where our things could have been stolen. I hope the restaurant will be more meticulous in the future when hiring the workers, who can ruin the reputation of the place. I highly recommend to all the visitors to be careful with their belongings since the stuff...

We came here on the 18th (a public holiday).

We ordered the Ratatouille salad and the BBQ Burger. The burger came out slightly undercooked but tasted alright. We checked with the kitchen and they said it was how it was served.

Unfortunately, towards the end of the meal, we found a worm in the burger. We are unsure whether it was from the beef or the vegetables that came with the burger.

We informed the kitchen and staff about our discovery and received a 10% discount.

Personally, we were disappointed with the overall experience at the restaurant. In addition to the bug, service was slow and food as a whole was a far cry from when we used to visit multiple times in the past (approximately a year ago).

Sad to say, we won’t be returning to Hunter and Grower any time soon.

I passed this place quite few times already but thought that this is a furnitures store :)) turned out it's a restaurant. It's quite new and the decoration is quite bare but I like the open space concept. The food is quite good, had roasted root veggies and it tasted fresh, also a rather weak flat white. I came with a big group, and our food appeared in a weird sequence. The first mains delivered so far from the last mains, so some of us were already done eating while others' food just came. My flat white served last. The way the servers handle beverages seem inexperienced (like they hold glasses by the rim where we supposed to put our lips). The toilet is spacious and clean.
