Monsieur Spoon Senayan City — Restaurant in Jakarta

I had dinner at Monsieur Spoon in Senayan City on a rainy evening, and it turned out to be such a comforting experience. The festive Christmas decor added a warm and cozy vibe, which made it the perfect place to escape the gloomy weather.

For my meal, I ordered the Angel Hair Aglio Olio, and it was fantastic. The pasta was light and perfectly al dente, with fresh, juicy prawns that really stood out. The slight kick of spice brought everything together without being overpowering. I also tried the Beef Bacon Croquette, which was crisp on the outside and soft and savory on the inside—simple but so satisfying.

The Nalesha Peach Tea was the perfect drink to go with the meal. It had a lovely fruity and floral flavor that felt both refreshing and calming, making it a great way to wind down after a long day.

While it took a bit of effort to get the waiters’ attention, the food and atmosphere really made up for it. I left feeling full and happy, and I can’t wait to come back and explore more...

Nice and well decorated interior with hype ambiance of Jakarta’s mall makes this restaurant always busy and long waiting list queue. We are here for lunch actually and like many people wrote in recommendations i choose Croburger a wagyu burger in croissants bun served with soft omelette, the wagyu minced meat is ok but bit cold and i think more sauces will do better as the creamy egg and the fatty wagyu is just savory creamy bomb in the mouth, the good part is i also order Nicoise salad so i have bit “sour” sauce / vinaigrette that i can pour to make the dish bit juicy n fresh. The coffee is okay also but the best is the croissants. The waiter friendly enough but seem they are too little compared to the big places and the over packed guests. Maybe time to add staff? Cause we wait too long to just order and some dish also wrong coming...

Went here last year. The service needs improvement for sure. I ordered mushroom soup, it came cold and i ask the waitress to reheat the soup. I waited more than 30minutes, and ask the waitress where is my soup. At first they keep answering “let me check the kitchen” many times. Untill i ask the manager where is my soup was. Then he bravely telling me that their team make mistake by delivering my soup to other table, and there is no more soup for that day. Such a mood killer, they could have tell me in the beginning they mistakenly deliver my soup to the wrong table and not making me waiting for more than 30min. Such a bad experience, and i read others review for this outlet that the waitress here are oftenly skip the customer order. I won’t came here...
