RM. Chandra — Restaurant in Jakarta

It's a halal Chinese restaurant around Karbela area. A lot of employees working around WTC tower (and it's surrounding area) came here often. The inside is much bigger than the outside as it has 3 areas, and one is even air-conditioned! I imagine the AC room will be full during lunch time. I came here at 1.30 PM so it's relatively empty.

I tried out Kangkung Hotplate and Ayam Goreng Mentega. Just like most Chinese restaurant, I think the sauce is the most dominant taste: it's delicious and it delivers the expectation.

If you factor in the price-to-value and consider that this is a halal restaurant (thus they don't use pork oil and stuff), the taste is already optimal. Can't go wrong with going here with a diverse group of people as most people will like the taste. It's also amazing that they have 2-3 cooks working non-stop. saya sering beli disini, dan baru kali ini merasa jijik dengan pegawainya. kejadiannya sekitar seminggu yg lalu saya takeaway 1 lauk saja krn untuk menambahkan menu sayur. waktu itu saya beli sangat padat & banyak customer antri. lalu saya membayar kemudian saya tinggal membeli makanan lain. kira2 sudah 1jam kurang, saya balik lagi saya bertanya kepelayan cwenya sudah digoreng blm ya mba? oh sudah kok mba itu sudah masuk penggorengan, singkat cerita saya tunggu lagi sekitar 20menitan, saya bertanya ke cici yang baik hati yg ada dikasir kata dia ini udah sebentar lagi kok. saya baik2 bilang klo blm jadi gpaa ci saya ga jadi saja, soalnya anak saya udah nangis, tidak apa2. lalu ada mas2 yang tugasnya hanya "membungkus makanan yg sudah matang" berkata "ya klo ga jadi gpaa ga rugi kita" sambil tertawa2 ketemannya berbisik sampai teman2 yg lainnya menengok kearahku. tujuan saya bilg spt itu ke cicinya klo memang tidak jadi saya berhak dong meminta uangnya, saya diam saja krn cici yg baik itu mgkin owner restoran tersebut terlihat biasa saja. jadi saya tidak melawan mas2 tersebut. sampai akhirnya menu saya jadi, mas2 tersebut bersenda gurau sampai pelayan yg lain melihat sambil tertawa2 kearahku. saya kecewa dengan perlakuan mas2 tersebut. tolong yaa diperbaiki mas2 yang tugasnya hanya "membungkus makanan matang keplastik" memakai topi agar adapnya bisa dirubah supaya pelanggan tidak kecewa gara2 tingkah kampung...
