RedDoorz Plus @ Karet Setiabudi — Hotel in Jakarta

I stayed ad RedDoorz @ Karet Setiabudi for 2 nights. I was quite happy with their location as they were close to the places where I had to go and there is a very nice cafe beside the hotel (Damn Cafe). However the hotel itself seemed quite overprized for what you get. Within the building you have limited service on your mobile phone, also the Wi-Fi is not working very well, several electricity plugs were hanging out the wall, the bathroom was not very clean and the bed was actually disgusting. I am not a very picky traveller but there were yellow stains and even some little blood stains all over the white sheets. I also found a fake eyelash on the sheets which was definitely not mine. I asked them if they cleaned the bed before I got the room however their english is quite poor so they didn't understand. They did understand that I wanted some clean sheets so they changed. However the clean sheets were still full of stains, but at least I knew now that the sheets where washed. The hotel is also very loud. If people are talking in the hallway it sounds like they are standing besides your bed. All in all I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice place to stay, if you just want to be close to some of the central business district offices and close to a nice...

The room is big enough for 2 people. The location is great, in the center of the city. Easily can find restaurants around there. The things that should be considered: I stay 2 people but everyday we only get 1 bottle of mineral water, The water in the bathroom is not big enough, the hot water is slow to respond, and the water is smelly, the back window dont have curtains so it will shine so bright in the morning and you cant get up late, tv channels is ok but the screen is mostly not clear. Next time i will ask for room in the opposite hall so that it wont shine too bright in...

Great facilities, there are TV Cable, Mineral Water, Toiletries, Towel, Table, AC, Refrigerator. The location was strategic, 15 minute walk to Halte Transjakarta, taxi or ojek sometime passing by in front of the hotel so it easy to order taxi or ojek. Great housekeeper, If you stay more than 1 day, the cleaning service / housekeeper clean your room every morning.||Cont's: AC quite old and litle bit noise but it works, poor signal for mobile phone especially Telkomsel User, small parking, i ever get a refrigerator...
