We ordered roasted peking duck half, bok-choy with chicken, and a bowl of rice for a total of around 300k. The duck was thick but juicy and crispy, but we believed that the price was not worth the foods.
The next time, I ordered salted-egg crispy fish skin (68k), asparagus and crab soup (42k), balachan fried rice (58k), and avocado juice (30k). The fish skin and the soup were good; the fried rice was also good, but there was a limited portion. The juice was okay. Overall, the foods were somewhat worth the price.
This time, I had dinner with friends here and ordered foods seen in pictures. For me, the winner among them was the fish skin for its crispiness and taste. The runner-up was the short ribs for its tenderness and taste. The third was tied between the squid and the string beans. Both were good in taste. The last place belonged to crab soup for its so-so taste. We spent overall, including drinks, service, and tax, around 715k for 3 people.
Another visit after a long pause, we ordered foods seen in pictures. Our favorite was crispy sotong. It was crispy, sweet, and delicious. For me, the runner-up was the soup. It was warm, fresh, and flavorful. The rest of the foods were just okay. This time, we spent almost 669k for four people.
After a few years, the menu evolves. The roasted duck came with mantou. The duck was still tender and juicy, while the mantou was soft and a little sweet. This time, we had another balachan; it was balachan tofu, which was flavorful. For the vegetable, we ordered pocai with three eggs. It was okay. We also ordered dessert: almond tofu pudding and chrysanthemum honey jelly. Both...
Read moreDisappointed to visit here on my friend birthday, the dinner we would like to enjoy but it was really unpleasant both services and enviroment.
When we came in, there was empty table inside but we request to change to another table as we found out there is bunch of people sitting in 1 table , talking and laughing like no tomorrow.
So we moved to another empty table outside next to public communal area. It was at acceptable noise when we sit and ordered our food. But, when the food came, suprisingly, another bunchbof people seated only 2 table away start talking and lauging loudly. I was seeking one of the staff there to kindly remind the guest to lower down their voices while talking and laughing but staff just smile and leave without saying and doing anything.
On the food, when order drink, we asked whether there is chinese tea, the waiter say NO, its out of stock. But when we saw it on menu and point it out, she said, which 1 do you want??? #$@%^€£¥.
Then, the rendang we ordered, taste wise is great its just the meat is hard to chew, there is a piece not even cant be eaten, its not even a meat, its a chunk of vein.

Read moreSo actually I've always liked eating at this restaurant since like around 12 years ago or so. I still remember back then when they still had Hainan rice & it was so delish (it was what kept me coming back) but sadly now after a couple of years not eating there I just came back yesterday to check on the current available menus & they said they no longer offer that menu anymore. Nevertheless, I ordered other menus that appealed to me such as broccoli cheese (this one is probably an older menu as well), asparagus crab cheese soup & balacan chicken. All of them tasted perfectly fine when they arrived in my mouth. Would recommend those menus for a somewhat balanced nutritional intake?? But still getting the incredible taste. The dessert & beverages I ordered really felt just fine too. Ambience & food choices are family friendly & the service was pretty fast for me cuz I arrived not during more crowded hours, waitresses were friendly. Previously I already tried other branches but this one. What a lovely experience. Would definitely come...
