I'm not a big drinker, so if you're here to get sauced, do take my review with a grain of salt. I was here for an event, and the "entry fee" was ordering one drink. Now, I'm no beverage connoisseur, but I think it's safe to say Rp. 35k minimum for the cheapest drink on the menu is a reasonable ask. At least it is for those mall cafes or places with middle-to-high class clientele. If you're the type to visit warungs and eat cheap roadside meals, the prices here will be quite the downside compared to your usual meals.
Meal highlights include a decent variety of foods to choose from, such as a special Christmas menu with Home Alone-themed foods and drinks. The main courses are also fairly enjoyable, and I got to enjoy a complimentary dimsum platter while I was there. The dimsum itself was okay; it's definitely not Chinese-restaurant level dimsum, but the quality was good for bar food. Although it's nothing to write home about, it was free, and that's always a plus.
The bar's got a massive TV which is often use to spectate soccer matches among other sports (they even showcased a PUBG esports tournament while I was there once), and holds events which could make it a good place to hang with your buddies. The waitstaff is also quite friendly, being approachable and understanding if you're having issues with service. Trust me, I would know.
All in all, good place to throw a few drinks back with some friends and watch a sports match or two. It could use some minor improvements, but thankfully nothing really gets in the way of...
Read moreI was interested with their self brewed beer, turned it was a good tasting. They even got the tasting menu for their beer, though it's too bad that they have a limited set on it. Maybe it's just enough for 10 orders at the same time. After that you need to wait until someone is done and they can wash the tiny glasses. Lol.
And trust me they have a loooottt of beers and other drinks there.
Another reason why I came here is because of the pork belly. And no doubt it was tasteful!!! Should have ordered two of them instead of the dimsum platter.
What's bad is, the parking space is very limited cause it's inside of another building, the one with the famous W steak. Or maybe you can also park at the next building cause Spark got their own entrance from that building but none of the parking guy...
Read moreThis place is quite new at the time of review, so hard to make a judgement based on their history, but the name Stark brings very good memories from Bali, since this is one of the few actually decent local craft breweries you can find in Indonesia. It has a very enjoyable outdoor area which, combined with the fact it is located in Jakarta’s SCBD, makes for a pretty good experience since there’s enough trees and quiet around. There were not enough options of beers on tap though when we visited, but this probably has something to do with the fact they opened during 2020 and the world situation was complicated enough. They had a brunch deal for all you can eat dumplings and discounts on bottled beers.
Overall a good place to hangout with friends, so I’d...
