Hutan Kota GBK — Attraction in Jakarta

This location is in the GBK Area. You can enter in Gate 6. Near of Gelora Bung Karno Transjakarta Halte Busway. And it can reach by MRT too. At the time when I'm visiting, Jakarta, Indonesia is in Summer and the grass turn into brown, not few, but almost all over the field. No shelter you can hide for the sun, if you come at noon untill 3.00 or 4.00 PM. Not suiteable in rainy day. The positive side, this is the fotography spot area. The view across is the landmark building in Senayan business area. My suggestion, you can come to this place from 3.30 PM until evening. To have a good view and sun beam from our behind. For those of you who are confused about going to the city of Jakarta but still want to feel the beauty of a vast green park, Hutan Kota GBK is the place to be. It's very comfortable for a picnic or sit back and relax. But if you want to sit on the grass, don't forget to bring a rug/mat to sit. There is also toilet and prayer room provided. Hutan Kota GBK is an easy place to visit, because the location is right in front of the Istora Senayan MRT and also there is no entrance fee or free! instead of small forest I'd rather called it park considering it's size and layout. the place is nice and cozy, but it seems people there love to trampel the grass, make the grass field uneven. I know one of the main feature that people enjoy by being there is so they can do picnic on grass but since it's relatively new park I hope they regulate people coming there so they don't step or trampel the spot where the grass need some breathing room to grow, or they can just forbid the visitor to step on the grass for the time being until the grass grow back fully. they have small mosque or we often called mushola and restroom for men and women and nice pond with...
