Pretty hard to find the first time. Walk through the alley from mie keriting luwes then turn left, it’s right at the end of the alley. Small place, not much table so you might have to wait a bit to get seated. The whole vibe is definitely old school homey place (literally).

You can choose steamboat or sukiyaki. Most people pick sukiyaki since it has unique turtle shell-ish shaped grill you can’t find anywhere else.

We ordered beef (1 plate for 1 person) and small veggies (enough for 2-3 people). Beef comes pre marinated in homemade soy sauce marinade and margarine for grilling. They also add some broth to the side of the grill for cooking veggies in. It’s not too bad at first, until the beef juice and margarine dripping into the broth makes it too salty.

Overall it’s decent, pretty cheap for barbecue, but it’s just too salty for my taste.

This place to eat is a subscription to my husband's family since 1990. Since being invited to eat here, I have become addicted, because I don't think you will find it anywhere else. from the food ingredients served so fresh and the shabu-shabu sauce. because of the pandemic we rarely eat at the place, but you don't get confused, you can call the owner to order and then pay by transfer after that I send a gojek to take the food, it's really easy isn't it and you just enjoy this incomparably delicious food in your own home. Easier way to reach the place is from the sudirman commuter line station, cross the street directly to Purwodadi street.

Price is super affordable. The soup base is a bit too salty if not eaten together with 🍚 🌾 rice. The chili 🌶️ sauce is unique and authentic.

Place is simple and small, opens at 6pm. So be there before opening hour to make sure you get a seat 🪑🪑🪑.
