Tomaple Gourmet Potato Donuts - Wisma 46 — Restaurant in Jakarta

Finally got the chance to try on these donuts! I was so excited when i was looking into their Eid Catalog and decided to buy one for myself.

Their customer orientation is top notch. The admin of their wa and online shops are super kind and affable. They responded quickly and make you feel taken care of. 👏

Now, to the product itself. I got to say, while they look amazing, i feel like some of the variants are a bit underwhelming. Let's say hit or miss.

I can say that their savory options are all good (i tried two). The texture of the crumbs are still very good even though they were consumed after a few hours have passed. It is airy, but it still maintains volume and weight.

The sweet options, i can say their Ovocrunch, Rainbow, Cinnamon, and Nutella are pretty good. The regal and Lotus which i was looking forward the most weren't really meeting my expectations.

One thing for sure though. The donut itself (the base) is delightful. They are airy, fluffy, and still has weight to it compared to J.Co (not enough weight) and DD (not fluffy).

Also, i like that they put a really strong seal to maintain the security on their box.

Maybe one suggestion, try to upgrade the thickness of the box as it is quite flabby. Sometimes it's a bit hard to close the top because the sides sometimes are...

had a not really good experience here. Bukan karena rasa donatnya yang gak enak, no.. i can assure anyone that tomaple donuts is ONE OF THE BEST DONUTS i ever taste. Saking suka dan enaknya makanya selalu beli banyak.

The problem are, (yes are, not is) : Sistem pembagian paketan yang menurut saya cukup merepotkan customer. Saya pilih paket yang harganya paling tinggi dengan harapan bisa custom pilihan donat apapun. Baik pilihan donat yang standar dan yang eksklusif. Nyatanya, dengan pilihan paket luxe yg paling tinggi saja saya tidak bisa memilih/memasukkan pilihan donat yang standar sejenis donat dengan meses. Oleh karena itu saya harus memilih salah satu, antara saya downgrade ke paketan yang murah yang hanya bisa donat + taburan gula dan donat + meses atau saya tetap di paketan yang luxe dan merelakan tidak mendapatkan donat + meses yang menjadi salah satu keinginan saya. Sistem yang menurut saya tidak bisa mengakomodir kebutuhan customer.

Karyawan tomaple yang melayani saya terkesan jutek dan tidak solutif ketika melihat respon kaget saya tentang pilihan paketan yang merepotkan. Bukan hanya saya yg merasakan, bahkan rekan kerja saya yang lain juga yg menyaksikan juga menyetujui kedua hal tersebut.

at the end, saya yg berencana membeli 1 lusin , berakhir dengan hanya membeli 2 buah donat saking sudah tidak selera dengan experience yg kurang menyenangkan. Its tomaple loss, not mine :)
