Amed Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

Seasoned Bali traveler here. I stayed in Amed for many months and had tried virtually all warungs and restaurants in the area.

TLDR: This place -by far- has THE most delicious Balinese food that I've ever tried. Everything is fresh and tasty.

An amazing culinary experience in this familiar warung. Do not hesitate twice, this is THE place to eat in Amed: extraordinary people & tasty+generous food

We came by attracted by the kindness of Sri and Ketut and we had an amazing dinner. They propose us to try the duck tutu the following day and we happily accepted and pre-order this great dish of 3h cooking(!!!). The duck was melting, the sauce delicious, the vegetables super tasty and even the white rice had a nice special taste. The portion was very generous. We asked not spicy and she prepared our dish accordingly.

I am a little divided with this feedback as I usually feel bad for not giving small businesses high rates but unfortunately despite the other high reviews there are massive issues. We were in Amed for almost a week and this Warung is one of the dirtiest I have seen, there is constantly 20 flies on each table when eating and your food will not taste the same if you look in the kitchen. It is a real pity as the taste of the food is not bad. I really wish they just paid attention to cleanliness.
