Warung Ratna — Restaurant in Kecamatan Kubu

I waited for my food around 40 minutes. Only after my compliments I got it. In addition to main dish i ordered a juice too. Ridiculously it took them to make a juice even more time then the main dish (I got it after the main dish was brought). The main dish was not warm enough (it means it was cooked enough time before they gave it to me, but still made me waiting). There was another customer who came after me, but got food before me. I guess I was served after him cause he was local and I am foreigner (basically I have gotten discriminated by my origin if I am right with the guess). When I tried to explain all this, why they treated me that badly and what did I do to deserve it, a man came. Apparently a husband of one woman who works there. He started to yell and scream at me. Even he mad a movent as he was about to hit me.

Long story short: better stay away from place unless you like to be neglected...

This is a cute little Nasi Campur place (i.e., two tables), and probably the only/best Warung in this tiny town. It's not amazing, but its a solid option with a very happy price tag (around 25K Rp). I liked their spicy pork stir fry dish the best!

Ich war hier 2 mal Essen und es war super. Am besten hat mir das Soy Sauce Pork + Rice geschmeckt. Es ist ein kleines Warung in dem die ganze Familie arbeitet. Die Portionen sind okay, aber wer großen Hunger hat, kann auch 2 Portionen essen. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker. Und es wird auch gefragt, ob man sein Essen scharf haben möchte oder nicht. Ich habe es ein mal scharf probiert, und es war sehr scharf, aber nicht zu scharf für mich. Bei den sehr guten Preisen kann man nichts falsch machen. Und ich habe auch keine Magenprobleme oder ähnliches bekommen. Leider habe ich erst heute erfahren, dass man auch Gerichte bestellen kann, die nicht auf der Karte stehen. Neben mir saß ein Pärchen und sie haben Nasi Campur gegessen, was nicht auf der Karte steht. Es sah wirklich köstlich aus. Eigentlich verlasse ich morgen Tulamben.
