Bayang Cafe Jimbaran — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I have eaten there before and was good I not been for 12 months and now I had 2 visits and will never return the seafood overcooked and little taste to there sauces also didn't taste so fresh . But calamari was so tough king prawns butchered and dry from over cooking also and oysters small and major majo again cooked to charcoal they menu said with vegetables salad and desert wel for 2 peopwl we got the smallest bowl of water spinach and salad we non jand desert was 2 slices of watermelon staff so lazy we had actually grt up and look for them and food took about 45 minutes for first oyster to come fresh no cooking . When we paid we mentioned nicely we where disappointed and staff told us I know but keep it down owner behind us and will get angry if we talk .what u see cost over 600 k but it is a cheap eats not top end place look for others lias Cafe nect door...

Location great with a view of the beach and tables placed right on the sand.

The fish and prawns were fresh, marination was perfect. However the same cannot be said for the squid in skewers as it was definitely NOT fresh from the texture and smell. The squid were cut into thick cubes and skewered instead of one half or whole small squid

Despite us informing the wait staff and owner, they insisted it was fresh and refused to accept feedback from us. We were not requesting for discounts just for the items to be replaced with fresh squid. They instead offered to heat up the same sticks for us! We left without any replacement for these items and paid in full.

Great views and overall ambience. The bad squid plus poor handling of our request put us off from...

Sneaky staff and manager. I went to have dinner yesterday and asked for 6 pieces of tiger prawns. The young guy stuff weighed it for 400 gr. But when they write it down, he sneakily put 500gr on the paper and when i asked why it was 400gr before, he quickly put 1 extra prawn in there.

Lastly when we paid the bill, the manager changed the price of squid from rp.110,000/kg to rp.175,000/kg.

So watched out for all these sneaky cheats. Looks like they do this as regular practice.
