Wr Mang Ayu ex Waroenk Djadoel — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a lovely, relaxed place to spend the day on sun lounges while on our honeymoon. It was fantastic with very well priced (and delicious) cocktails (and cheap beer) with amazing service. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Very friendly but also left us to our own devices. It was just like what you’d experience in Seminyak (but a lot less $$$ and a lot less bothersome with nobody trying to sell anything along the beach).

The food was amazing. I am a pasta lover and I ate the same pasta for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day we went there. While I enjoyed the delicious carbonara, my partner tried all different seafood options and was beyond happy with them all.

I highly recommend Wr Mang Ayu for any new tourists to Jimbaran as they make you feel right at home while also in paradise. A great view of the ‘cove’, clean toilet and funky shower which was great to wash off after a swim and some sand. I would suggest trying their frozen cocktails! DELICIOUS!

We went for lunch, it was not busy at all , we were the only ones having food, the other customers were renting the su beds and having some drinks only. The waitress was more concerned with running after potential clients on the beach to rent out the sun beds than looking after us. It took over one hour to get the food from the moment we ordered (we were mindful of the timing as we had a flight to catch) I requested my plate non -spicy and when I got it, it was so spicy I could not eat it. They told me that was their base sauce and for them it was non spicy. My husband’s dish came over half an hour after mine and it was edible but tasteless.
