Last time I visited, I just answered google questions. This time, I must add a personal review! The food - probably one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at in Bali. I keep trying more every time I go back and so far I have no complaints about anything! The staff - always excellent, every time This last time, we did a birthday dinner for my friend and the restaurant was so helpful from decorating for us to choosing menu options, to asking what music we wanted. I can't say enough about this place....oh and the ambiance, vibe, location and table comfort are also 100%. Last thing to say....my sister in laws parents from India made me biriyani and I fell in love...this might be the first time I've seen it here and they do it so good. I tried the lamb biriyani and I will probably get it as the rice dish every time I go back 😊 this is my "treat myself"...
Read moreWaited 1.5 hours for a small food delivery. When I called the resto they blamed it on Gojek, but I later found out they were lying and the kitchen was just slow or they forgot the order.
Food used to be amazing, but lately the food and there customer service and efficiency are terrible. Used to not be this way, but they have declined since they have opened.
EDIT: Let me be extremely clear, it was not Gojeks fault. the driver was sending me photos of him waiting inside the restaurant for over an hour. I was also messaging Bazaar staff on whats app at the same time and they told me the driver has not arrived yet when it was clear the driver was there. Just typical nonsense from incompetent indo staff. Again, this is a restaurant staff issue, not Gojek. And also why i wont be returning or recommending this to friends...
Read moreThe food was overall really delicious. Not having the strong, traditional Indian spice flavors you would expect from local spots, but it felt more like a contemporary, modern Gen Z style restaurant you would find in Mumbai i would say. The paneer in every dish stood out. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Pani puri, Honestly, it was on a whole different level compared to other Indian restaurants I have tried.
The portions were huge. You could easily share just one thali along with a couple of sides and be more than full. We ordered a bunch of things for the two of us and ended up taking the leftovers to go.
The restaurant also had a great vibe. the atmosphere was just perfect. I am not exactly sure when their happy hour starts, but we went during dinner time and got a 2 for 1...
