My family and I went to Commune to get breakfast every morning we stayed (4 days), as well as 1 dinner for my brother's birthday. My experience? The food -- amazing; ambience -- superb; service -- exceptional. I would highly recommend the Umana Breakfast, Breakfast Burritos, and the Ayam Kalasan for mains, andI believe you can't go wrong with any of the desserts (Pancakes, Pandan Waffles, French Toast & Bubur Combo). That isn't to say you shouldn't try as much as possible (but PLEASE don't waste food!). The spread is also really good, but the menu items are where the action is at.
Furthermore, everyone was fantastic at Commune. Special shoutout to Lofan & Ade, who took my dinner and some breakfast services, and Milfan, who took some breakfast services. The staff at Commune, and in fact, the entire Umana Resort, made me feel welcome and at home. Everyone's English was good and they all wore smiles on their faces, hallmarks of extremely good service. umana breakfast is a must! caviar on scrabbled egg with lobster meat for breakfast! we love the nasi campur, japanese pasta, smoothie bowl, muesli birche, chocolate bombilini and all the traditional kueh too.
