Dream Corner — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Exceptionally delicious food here and quick service in good English, with a warm smile. At this price point especially, I would almost call it a true hidden gem of South Kuta. However, the ambience does leave a little to be desired. With lots of people walking by, dogs roaming around, and traditional music being played at too high a volume, it’s not the most relaxing dining experience. The lights and decorations could also do with an upgrade to make it a bit more atmospheric. This is of course not unlike any other dinner at a more local ‘Warung’ in Bali, as one may know after visiting a few of those. Came here twice, first time for beers and the second for both beers and food. The first time I came, I was charged 40k for a large Bintang and the second time 45k. That’s a big no no first of all. The second big no no is the excruciatingly painful food poisoning I got from the fried noodles with chicken I ordered. Unfortunately this was also a day before a 20+ hour travel home so you could imagine it was one of the worst times of my life. Can’t not recommend this...

Staff is super friendly and accommodating to special requests for food orders. We ate here multiple times since we were staying close by at Wyndham and It is great food at a great price. Most dishes are 50 rupiah ($3.50) or less and large beers are only 40 rupiah. So we could have two entrees and two large beers for less than one dish at the resorts near by.
