Ke Pizza — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Ok, listen. It is a cheap food park where one of warungs, or food court boxes, is this pizza stuff. Got it? The entire place is good, but let's come back to the pizza. I eat it from time to time, 1-2 a month. Why? Because I live nearby and I miss European food once every few weeks. I can say the pizza dough is very good, pizzas are of decent size and taste, and preparation is perfect. This pizza wonderfully hot from the oven tastes heavenly, but hey, that's not all about pizza, is it? I also take away and consume their pizzas at home. One not always can eat the entire thing, right? So do I. The leftover pizza tastes very nice next day either from the fridge, or reheated in the oven. (One American guy taught me this cold leftoever next day pizza is actually a thing to consider special, and to like it separately as snack or meal). The only thing I add, but don't tell the owner, Italians allegedly kill for it as considered a crime in Italy, is ketchup, or my own home-made chili mayonnaise which I prepare from home made lemon mayonnaise, chili sambal from fermented chillies, and herbs plus garlic (honey to taste). Tried Ke Pizza and was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. The crust was crispy and had a great texture, and the overall flavor of the pizza was excellent. My only minor complaint would be that there could have been more toppings on the pizza, but that's just my personal preference.

One thing that really stood out to me was the tiramisu - it was the best I've had in a long time! It wasn't too sweet and tasted like an authentic tiramisu from Italy. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Unfortunately, we had to take away the pizza, it was a bit cold by the time we got home. I wished we had dined in to enjoy the pizza fresh out of the oven. Nevertheless, it was still delicious and I would definitely come back again.

Overall, Ke Pizza is a great spot for delicious pizza and amazing tiramisu. The only downside was that our takeout pizza was not as hot as I would have liked it, but I am still happy with the overall experience.

Let me start with how amazing the owners are, they both were excellent hosts. We all spend almost 4 hours at the restaurant tonight and could have spend most of the night listening to them both talk. You both are amazing!

I cannot fault the food I ate tonight. The Margarita and Romana pizza to start with was a splendid start to our meals. Adding some chilli oil to this added a lot of spice but deliciousness all over. I ate fettuccine ragu and fettuccine parmigiana and they were exquisite. I finished the night with not only one, but two, two tiramisu’s. That was unbelievable. The ice cream my family had also was very delicious. The chocolate ice cream is probably the best I’ve ever had.

As an Australian-Italian who loves Italian food, I would say the food here is better than all Italian restaurants...
