I’ve had many massages in different places, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I booked a 1.5-hour massage, but from the start, things were wrong. The therapist (Debi) walked in and left the door open, offering zero privacy. Even after politely asking her to close it, she only partially did so, and I had to repeatedly request for it to be fully closed — which finally happened after several tries. Imagine being half-undressed while people walk by. Completely unacceptable.

About 10 minutes in, I politely asked her to turn off the air conditioner as I was feeling cold. She sighed in annoyance and made it very clear she wasn't happy with the request.

As for the massage itself, there was no technique. She simply rubbed oil on my back and shoulders over and over again with no pressure, no flow, and no understanding of how to address pain points. When I asked her to move on to my legs, she rudely told me she would spend 40 minutes on my back — despite me clearly explaining that it was fine and I wanted focus elsewhere.

At that point, I was so uncomfortable and upset that I asked her to stop, got dressed, and walked out early.

This was a complete waste of time and money. Poor service, lack of professionalism, no privacy, and absolutely no skill.

"Overrated spa, uncomfortable experiences" The refresh spa located near the main gate of nusa dua, free pick up for nusa dua area's hotel, 5 minutes to the Grand hyatt. My families were greeted with cold drinks and cold hand towels, the cold drinks were good, but the hand towels seemed were not washed thoroughly for such a long time that their original white color turned to yellow gray and smelled disgustingly. The facilities in masage room were in average standard, however when I faced down on the massage bed, a mixed smell of humid and moldy made me very uncomfortable, the masage skills were in average level compare to the price of 250K for 1.5 hour full body masage. The most annoying thing was that we were told if we come back again and give high scores in the tripadvisor, we can get additional 20% discount. I will not recognize it as cheating, but I do not like such kind of promotional means. Finally I do not get 20% discount because I will not...

Booked manicure and pedicure service (15/3) as a home service due to tight schedule that unable me to go to the spa. The staff, Made, was very friendly and accomodative. He made the arrangement possible despite the short notice.

On the day itself, 2 friendly and nice staffs came to the villa. Service was good.

For the pedicure, it still maintain well till today.

For the manicure, just right after the session, realised that there was a mishap for 2 of the fingers. Hence, they have to redo it. Fortunately, i had planned for ample time to do the nails so there's still a little bit of time and i was fine with that. On 16/3 afternoon, I realised that one of the nails started peeling off already which defeat the purpose of why I chose gel nail polish. By now, a lot of the parts of the nails have peeled off.
