My name is Cheyenne, I am an influencer and I was supposed to have a collab with Ours Home, would get a free meal up to 300k and in exchange would create content for them on socials. There was a bit of a mix up about the location, I went to the wrong one, this was to blame on me. However it is still the same company and I told them about the collab straight when I walked in. The manager showed up at the table 45 minutes later to tell me I was at the wrong location + they told me I was supposed to be there at 12 and I arrived at 2 and now I was too late to drive to the right location and the deal was off, whilst the fact that the timing was so strict to me was not clear at all and was not communicated in general. Also I came all the way from canggu in the morning, carrying a more heavy professional camera, partially for this collab so this feels double.
Before this collab I had eaten there once before and I have to say the food was good and the atmosphere too so I will still give a genuine rate on this but I am definitely not happy about the service and I would not collab with them again. It’s not such a big deal but they should have been more clear, not keep me waiting and I feel they could have been flexible and kept their promises looking at the circumstances. All in a score on average I would say a 2,5 out of 5 because of...
Read moreWe visited Ours Home in Uluwatu after a recommendation from our villa, hoping for a lovely dinner experience — but sadly, it fell short on several fronts.
Despite booking for 18:30 and receiving multiple reminders (via email and WhatsApp) that the table would only be held for 10 minutes, the restaurant wasn’t even full when we arrived — and our table wasn’t ready. It created unnecessary stress, especially with the typical Uluwatu traffic at that hour.
While the cocktails and beef were nicely done, the portions were very small. The biggest disappointment was the service: slow, unresponsive, and at times completely absent. Despite several attempts to get the staff’s attention, we waited over 20 minutes with dirty dishes still on the table — even though many staff members were present.
The space itself is pretty and the vibe relaxed, but nice atmosphere and OK food can’t compensate for the lack of basic service — especially on a special evening.
If we had known, we would have chosen another place for our last night in Uluwatu. A beautiful setting alone isn’t enough — the service makes or breaks...
Read moreOurs Home is an amazingly great café-restaurant on the road leading to the Uluwatu Beach. It maybe a bit off the cliffs and without views, but more than makes it up with amazing food and service. The design aesthetics are Balinese. Under a wood and thatch roof with open sides, a bar with barstools in the centre and an open kitchen, this place is all wood tones. I loved the huge white curtains and venetian chik-blinds. The café is spacious and seats 80 to 90 people comfortably at peak occupancy. It was breakfast time, so I ordered a quinoa porridge and cappuccino. The menu is clearly labelled for vegan and gluten-free options. For most vegetarian dishes there's a vegan option - almond milk instead of regular milk, for instance. The porridge was delicious and substantial with fresh fruit on top. The cappuccino was one of the best I've had in Indonesia. I ordered another one, coz I liked it so much. Afterwards I relaxed and used the café's free wifi to browse while listening to a well-curated playlist of...
