Very good & highly recommended.
Living in London & having spent 6 months living in Japan I've eaten my far share of fish. The offering at Sushi ulu wasabi focuses more on the American style of extravagant rolls but boy do they do it well. The Kamikaze roll which is finished with a flash fry was superb. The contrast in texture between the crisp seaweed & the soft fish contents was amazing, one of the best rolls I've ever tasted. The sashimi was good quality with the snapper particularly good. Tuna tataki was excellently prepared with the searing of the outside done well to create the contrast in textures you look for. This restaurant would do well in London & the prices are certainly not akin to London. Any traveller who enjoys sushi will be like a kid in a sweet shop with the food available to...
Read moreBeen here two times in the last year. Staff is really friendly and nice. Had the sashimi app and it was really tasty. Three kinds of fish, 7 pieces. All really good. Had the seaweed salad...comes on a bed of cucumber ...sunomono style...and topped eith seasame seeds. Really good. And had a roll...also tasty...it was the one woth tempura shimp inside ans sashimi on top...a little bit sweet, a little bit crunchy, and really delicious. The only thing I didnt like was the pickled ginger. It lacked flavor and tasted a big old. ( I am a bit of a pickled ginger fiend...I love i... But this stuff wasnt that good). Oh also had a green tea...really nice....

I haven’t tried any other sushi nearby, but would probably come back if the need for sushi is big and also because of the fair price (prices have been a little increased since what is found on the Google menu shown here) the staff...
